With a simple tap of the finger, the alarm on Kira's phone cuts off abruptly, leaving her in the empty silence of her dorm room once again. She woke a couple of hours before her alarm was due to ring, lying flat on her stomach with her arms tucked under the pillows. She smushed her face deeper into the material, searching for a few extra minutes of sleep. But it didn't come.

The memory of her classmate's expressions have been engraved into her brain - expressions she wished she'd never seen.

Outside her door, Kira heard the floorboards creak. It was probably Mina skipping past, eager to start another school day with her friends. Kira, on the other hand, had been sentenced to two days of house arrest. Her friends are going to lose their minds when they find out.

Hence why Kira was taking forever to slither out from her warm covers. She did, in the end, with a few unintelligible groans. Kira threw on some more practical clothes; joggers and a baggy jumper, instead of her pyjamas and swung open the door of her room so violently that it smacked into the wall.

Kira just knew she was about to face an onslaught of pertinent questions from her classmates as soon as they realised she was in no rush to get ready for their first class of the day. Hopefully, they would be too distracted by Bakugou and Midoriya's wounds to pay much attention to her.

It was a good start. The lift dinged her arrival to the ground floor and sure enough, two crowds had formed. One around Midoriya, consisting of Todoroki, Iida, Ochaco, Tsu, Aoyama and a few others. The other crowd included Kirishima, Kaminari, Sero and Mina as they blocked Bakugou from sight. These were the ones confident enough to get close enough to ask questions without getting blown to hell by the notoriously ill-tempered blonde.

Whether the students heard the ruckus last night or are purely going off their injuries, the spotlight had been cast away from Kira as she tiptoed past the excited investigators and into the kitchen. Either way, Kira had no wounds to share, so they wouldn't know that she was even missing last night... unless one of the boys were to spill the news. Kira's hand paused on one of the cupboards, before slowly resuming their search - Bakugou and Midoriya aren't the types to purposely spread gossip. Not about something as minor as this.

Kira helped herself to breakfast, perching at a nearby table and listened to her enthusiastic classmate's poke and prod at the tired duo.

"You've gotta spill eventually," Tsu was saying. "You and Bakugou got into a fight?"

That much was obvious. The part putting them off must be the fact that Midoriya even agreed to fight Bakugou in the first place.

"That's so unlike you, Deku," Ochaco adds, when they don't get a response.

"Leave me the hell alone!" Bakugou suddenly roars from the other side of the room, nearly flipping over the table.

The crowd around Bakugou backs off a little but their eagerness is proving to be stronger than their desire for safety. They slowly but surely edge closer to Bakugou once again, determined to get answers.

"Hey, Akira!" Kira turns to the friendly voice. "You sleep well?"

"Toru," Kira starts, placing her spoon down beside her bowl. "I did, yeah."

"Did you hear about Bakugou and Midoriya?" She asks.

Kira looks back at the two mini-crowds. "It... it was kind of hard not to."

"Really?" Her clothes show that she might be tilting her head at Kira. "You don't seem all that surprised by it."

"Well, with the way those two argue all the time, a fight was bound to happen," she says, saving her skin slightly. "I'm just surprised it didn't happen sooner."
