Kirishima made the news. A week had passed since the exam that Akira, Bakugou and Todoroki had to complete. The directors remarked on their strengths and weaknesses, criticising on Akira's failures and making herself a burden, resulting in her own comrades to save her from her mistakes. Even Bakugou appeared to be more successful than Kira in the exam, having rescued more civilian's and herself in the process. She hated being less than him.

However, the judges reflected on Akira's leadership and planning and decided to pass her merely on that. Though, it was close. Were she to of failed that exam... Mr Aizawa made certain that the three of them were brutally scolded on their terrible performance during the examination, promising to beat away these weaknesses and evolve them into strong, resilient pro heroes.

Akira was okay with that.

On the other hand, Eijiro Kirishima made the news. During his pro hero agency, with Fatgum and Tamaki Amajiki, Kirishima was able to subdue a villain, with quite a terrifying Quirk, Kira heard.

Amateur footage was being shown on the television and Class 1A gathered around it, squashed on the sofas and huddled around the carpet at their feet. Kira watched in awe as Kirishima bulked himself into one of his special ultimate moves.

"No way, man!" Kaminari whoops, resting his arms on the back of the sofa behind Kyoka. "You're seriously awesome! Look at this bit!"

This is probably the seventh time the class has rewatched Kirishima's fight - it was intense and chilling. The opponents Quirk was quite deadly.

"I'm just glad you're okay," Kira sighs.

"I'm here," he tells her, grabbing her hand as she sits tentatively beside him on the sofa. "See?"

She nods as Kaminari jumps up, making the whole sofa move. "What did you call it again?"

"You gonna ask me everytime we watch it?" Kirishima chuckles, craning his neck round to view the hyperactive classmate.

"I mean: come on, Kirishima!" He barks. "You got to fight an actual villain! That's so cool! You even got shot too!"

Kira's eyes unwillingly go up to his forehead and Kirishima rubs it. "I'm glad it was me that got hit and not Amajiki. Well... he did get hit, but they're not normal bullets. Anyways" - he shrugs half heartedly - "my Quirk stopped the bullet. I checked myself in to see Recovery Girl just in case, but I'm all good."

"You're really talented, Kirishima," Midoriya comments.

Iida cuts in, leaning over the back of the sofa. "You should consider yourself lucky. This villain that you fought seemed very powerful."

"He was..." Kirishima trails off, deep in thought.

Kira notices his hesitancy and decides that perhaps some alone time is what the two of them need. She'll be able to understand him in ways that others can't, even his best friends. Maybe Kirishima wants to talk about what happened during his battle, some troubling thoughts he may still have. His friends are in awe over his skills, so maybe he doesn't want to make them worry. Best to let them geek out over his abilities in a real-life situation.

"Kirishima," Kira says quietly, as Sero points to the television at another battle sequence. "Something's wrong, isn't there?" She asked the question, but his silence only confirmed her doubts. She looked around at her classmates before jerking her head away from them. "Come on. We can talk about it, if you want."

Kaminari jabs his elbow into Sero from behind the sofa, gawking at the screen.

"Yeah," Kirishima whispers in reply. "I'd like that a lot."
