I would like to say a couple of things. The reason why there were so many time skips or parts of their lives missing was because I wanted to write it as if it was the way that Ruby remembered it.
For example, she blocked out most of the time that she was mourning Kurt's death because she didn't want to remember it. Or how time flied by really quickly when Kurt was on tour, so she didn't really remember a lot of it.
I'm thinking about writing a sequel that focuses on Ruby and Ethan's relationship, but let me know if that's something I should do.
I'm also working on another book about Kurt Cobain called, "My Heart is Broke".
