After six months hard work and no time off apart from the weekends, what do you need? A bloody long holiday!

Sure it's not always the best solution but after being bombarded at work every single day for six months it's definitely what you need. Me and the girls decided to save up our holidays over the last year and take the same amount of time off for a girly holiday! 2 months in St Lucia sounds absolutely perfect!

There were four of us all together, me, Scarlett, Aimee and Nicole. We knew each other from college but split off into different jobs, obviously still keeping in contact. We lived in one big apartment so even after work we'd still see each other all the time anyway. Scarlett and Nicole had trained for quite a while as beauticians, not specialising in anything but they could do everything, saved me and Aimee a load of cash! Aimee was the rough one of the group, she loved the idea of being charge and whatnot so she trained to be a policewoman which actually suited her quite well.

I completely forgot to introduce myself! My name's Lucy, but most people call me Luce. I'm 21 years old and run my own fashion line. It's not a 'well known' fashion line but it makes a few appearances on websites like Boohoo and New Look, you'd never see them on celebrities! Can you imagine? I think I'd have a heart attack! I don't just do women's clothing, I design for all across the board, women, men, children, maternity etc. The girls loved it! I'd always get samples made in their sizes so they could 'model' them for me I suppose, and if I liked how they looked in person the girls got to keep them and I'd send out the product details and order numbers to the manufacturers, so at least I got to see my clothes before they went out to the public.

We had a few guy friends too that would try out my men's line; Ben, Luke, Joe (J for short), Kyle and Lucas. They loved it just as much as the girls did, but I guess everyone would if they were getting free clothes. My job's a bit more out there than the girls but this is what I've wanted to do since I can remember. I've got hundreds of sketchbooks at my mum and dad's house just full of outfit designs. I actually used a few of them for my line, not for adults obviously, but some of them made great children's clothes!

Seeing as that's there basics of what you need to know, I'll get on with the present then shall I?

Currently, all four of us were in our rooms packing for our flight for early tomorrow morning. 5AM flight which means we need to be at the airport for 2AM, why airports feel the need to do that is beyond me! I want my sleep!

"Luce?!" Aimee called through the apartment.

"Yeah?!" I shouted back, throwing in my floral high waisted shorts.

"How many suitcases are you taking babe? I don't know how many to take." She laughed, sitting on the edge of my bed.

"Aims one suitcase doesn't even last you two weeks," I laughed, shaking my head, remembering our last holiday in Fiji. "Take two and if you need any extra space just ask one of us, we don't pack as heavily as you."

"Yeah because you recycle!" She giggled as she left my room.

It's not recycling it's just common sense, you take as many clothes as you can fit in your suitcase and just wash them when you need to. That's why I booked the accommodation to make sure there was somewhere I could wash my clothes. None of the apartments there had washing machines but it did have an on site laundrette, all be it it did cost a fortune it was worth it.

At least two hours later all four of us were sat in our living room with a glass of red wine each, bad idea for me; red goes straight to my head. We were discussing everything that we wanted to do while we were in St Lucia, meals out, nights out, beach days, pool days etc. I honestly couldn't wait! Our last holiday was a right giggle, this one could not top it!

Little did I know this holiday would definitely top the others..seeing as this one changed my life.
