''This club night, is gonna rule!" Brooke cheers as she, Peyton and I handed out fliers as we walked down the hallway.

''Not according to the jerk at the record store.'' P growled as she sticks a flier up onto the school notice board.

''Huh?''

''Some asshole at the record store told her that the all age night was gonna be a bust.'' I stated looking down at my phone.

Hey, wyd?~KJ

Walking through hell. Wby?~BS

I'm bored. Wanna hang after school? I'll pick you up ;)~KJ

Totally. I may even skip the last few periods to spend time with you. :)~BS

"What's got you smiling like an idiot?'' Brooke looked over at me.

''No one.''

''So it's a boy? Is he cute?''

''Yeah he is.'' i sighed.

''Can we focus, guys? What am I gonna do if I can't find a band?'' Sawyer groaned.

''If you can't find a band, i'll sing.'' I smiled at her.

''Really?''

''Really.''

''Thanks B. Scott.''

''No problem P. Sawyer.''

''OK, could it get any worse? My love life is non-existent, my parents are having a yard sale to sell everything that we own and I had to beg them to keep my car.'' Brooke leans toward Peyton and i as we watched slides about stars in science class.

''OK. You might not be rich but you are still Brooke Davis; the most popular, least studious girl in school.'' Peyton whispered back.

''Maybe so, but being poor and horny is no way to go through life. How am I supposed to have fun?''

''Boys won't care about the poor part, just as long as you tell them about the horny part.'' i leaned back to whisper.

''To top it all off, if my parents go broke, I might actually have to study to get into college.''

''My God the horror!'' P and I stated together sarcastically.

''I know! How the mighty have fallen.''

''So, the meteor shower is coming up. Do you want to watch it with me?'' I asked KJ as we laid around my room, mom and Luke aren't here.

''Yeah... Can we talk?''

''Isn't that what we're doing?'' I smirked.

KJ chuckled as he threw a pillow at me.

"What about?'' I smiled.

We both sat criss-crossed on my bed, facing each other.

''My leave is almost up. I leave in a week... I know we've only known each other for a week already, but I would really love if you'd write me.''
