Y/N pov

I stayed hidden in my room crying after the party ended. I knew I should have helped tidy up and I felt guilty for not saying goodbye to everyone, but my heart still hurt and I looked a mess from crying.

I heard knocking on my door, and Mello calling me gently.

"Can I come in, Y/N? Please, I need to talk to you."

I couldn't avoid him forever so I told him to come in. I furiously wiped my tears away as he came in, and I didn't look at him.

"Wow, that's a lot of chocolate. Are you hungry?" He asked.

"No, it's for you."

"For me? All of it?"

"Yes, so just take it and go eat it."

He sat on the bed beside me instead.

"I don't want chocolate right know. I want to know if you're ok."

"Yes, I'm ok."

"You don't seem ok."

He placed his hand on my back, timidly.

"That guy is no one. I don't even like him, I was lonely and I felt like kissing someone, but I kissed the wrong person. I was afraid to kiss the right person, I was afraid you wouldn't want me to kiss you."

I looked at him. "Me?"

"Yes, I wanted to kiss you. I still want to kiss you, I like you."

I smiled in relief.

"I like you too."

He smiled back as he leaned in to kiss me softly on the lips. When he tried to pull away, I pulled him back and wrapped my arms around him.

"I want you to kiss me forever, Mello."
