It was a hard day for the mafia as we had made no progress on the Kira case. I found Mello sitting alone eating his chocolate and sat down beside him.
"Are you ok, Mello?"
"Yeah, I'm fine." He replied automatically.
"No but really, are you coping ok? I know how stressed you are, I'm concerned."
I touched his arm and he stared at me, surprised.
"What's wrong?"
"It's just that no one has ever cared how I am."
"Well I care."
He looked about to cry so I hugged him.
"No one has ever really hugged me before either." He confessed.
"What? Oh Mello. I always want to hug you. I always want to kiss you. Wait no, I mean I do but...oh crap."
I pulled away from him, embarrassed.
"Do you really want to kiss me?" He asked.
"Yes."
"Then you should kiss me."
I looked at him and he nodded. So I kissed him.
