— "What do you mean you've made arrangement? Tommy you haven't even brought her an engagement ring yet!" You ranted down the phone.
Tommy was being an asshole to you and kept telling you to put Nikki on the phone. But you were standing your ground.
"I don't know who your girlfriend thinks she is. But I swear if you don't put her on the phone right now."
"You'll do what? I'm not talking to you about this, put Nikki on the phone. He's the one who's actually reasonable." You felt yourself get more and more pissed off before you handed the phone to Nikki.
"Your friend is a prick and his girlfriend is a coward" You stated with an angry glare.
"Dude, seriously why would you do this?" Nikki ranted down the phone. You could hear Tommy trying to reason with him.
"Let me speak to Heather. There's a million other dates in the year" Nikki sighed as he rubbed his temple. You sat on his lap and rested against him as you listened in.
"This is real bullshit Tommy. She's treating you like a dog and now she's trying to cause shit. She loves drama" Nikki explained calmly. "Well then she's gonna have to pay for all of our shit."
"Fine" You said waving at Nikki to give you the phone. You took the phone from him.
"We'll change the date Tommy. And I'm doing it for you, not for her. But if she causes anymore shit I will not hesitate to kick her ass" You stated sternly before hanging up. You pushed the phone back on the side and put your head back.
"We're just gonna have to get married another time" You sighed. You watched Nikki clench his jaw as he ran a hand over his face.
"Just like that. You gave in to him just like that?" Nikki pushed you off his lap as he began to pace.
"It was gonna cause problems between you and Tommy. It's just easier. I'll cancel what's been arranged and anything else Heather can pay for it" You shrugged.
"So we just wait another year to get married?" He asked as you grabbed your diary.
"C'mon Babe, we may not have to wait that long. Come sit down and we'll just plan it now" You said and Nikki stopped pacing. He grabbed his calendar and sat down next to you.
"Let's just destress" You said kissing his arm as he flicked through his calendar.
"I just can't believe he'd stab me in the back like that"He growled "All for a chick he's gonna end up cheating on anyway"
"Well, karmas a bitch" You shrugged as you skipped September. You grinned and pointed to a date in your book.
"That would be pretty fucking awesome" Nikki broke out into a grin as he flicked to the same month. "It's free for me too."
