Max called a meeting, to break the ice between us the aliens and Liz. I really didn't want to go because she insulted me, all of us, because of her selfish reasons. We helped her in so many ways and when things went South, she blamed us.

We walk through the back door and enter
The Crashdown where we sat at a table. Y/BF/N rubs my thigh and looks at me. Soon after, I look at him and hold his hand. We didn't have to talk at all because we knew exactly what each other said.

Michael, Isabel, Tess and Kyle were already in the restaurant talking amongst themselves. Minutes later Max came in with Liz and the room went quiet. Max sat on a table and Liz stood in the center of the room talking.

"I am sorry, that I accused you guys of killing Alex. I was desperate and it was just a stupid move."

The room still stood quietly, and then Max said

"Anyone care to say anything along the lines of 'I forgive you.'?"

Isabel then stood and gave Liz a hug. Tess and Michael did the same. Y/BF/N began to slip away from my grip to give her a hug. All of a sudden, all eyes were on me... And Maria says

"Forgiveness shows your strength of character, you know?" I sigh and walk up to Liz but I said

"I don't do hugs, so..."

I held out my hand and she shook it.

"Nah, that's not how you do it, here." I showed her how to slap, lock and slide into the handshake.

"Oh cool." She said.

I gave her a small smile and sat on Y/BF/N lap. He adjusted me and began kissing my forearm.

"You guys want a drink?" Maria asks.

"Sure." I say and get up to help out. 

Y/BF/N's hands hesitantly came off of my waist. I walked towards Maria to talk and she say

"Love bird alert."

I chuckle and say "Sorry for making you guys uncomfortable."

"No, not all. I admire that you guys are openly affectionate and you don't care who is looking. That's the way to be."

"Right, thanks."
