Jughead Jones Imagine #2

I was driving down the road in my Dodge Dart until I saw Jughead walking. I stopped, rolled down my window and said

"Hey, you want a ride?"

He looked at me reluctantly and harshly but I didn't care because I was use to being around closed off people. I tilted my head to the side and gave him my soft and sweet smile. He deeply sighed and went into the car.

"Where to?"

"Pop's."

"K'ay. K'ay."

After a few minutes of dead silence, he says

"So why are you helping me?"

"Because that I can. It's no big deal, really."

"Mm. You're new to Riverdale. How do you like it?"

I took a minute to stop and think, I finally said

"This town seems like it has a whole lot more to its story than it's letting on."

"Oh, sweetie, you have no idea."

"Mm. Well, would you like to inform me?"

"Gladly."

We pull up to Pop's and park the car.

"See you around?"

I look over at him to began to notice his appearance. His cute gray, crown beanie. His freckles scattered all his face. His steel blue eyes and his plump lips.

"You done admiring the view?"

"Not just yet." I pause for a minute to exaggerate my statement and I then said

"Now I am."

"Hm."

"What? Never had a girl blatantly check you out before?"

"I never had any girl check me out before."

"Mm, well there a first time for everything."

We stare at each other, smiling and then he says

"You want to read what I've written so far? About Riverdale?"

"Sure."

We head into Pop's and stayed there for a while.

** 5 hours later**

"So you want me to drop you off at your house?"

He paused and said

"Nah, I will be fine here."

"You sure?"

"Yea." I pause and then say

"I can't leave you here, Jughead."

"Yes, you can. I can look after myself. See you at school."

I press my lips together and say

"Ok, bye."

Then I hesitantly walked to my car and drove home.
