Imagine... Trying to get Cas to smile.

You sat down next to the angel, in hopes of connecting with him somehow.

"Hello [y/n]."

"Hey Cas." You tried out the nickname.

"What? What is a 'Cas'"? He asked. He stared at you with a confused look.

"It's a shortened version of your name." You replied. He nodded and looked back at the blank tv screen.

You kept going. "What's your favorite color?"

"Magenta."

"Cool."

After a few awkward minutes, you stood up in annoyance. "God dammit Cas!"

"What is it, [y/n]?" He looked at you with confusion again.

"Would you just smile!"

"Yes, okay." He smiled. It was very pretty. It melted easily.

"Fake." You leaned in and kissed him on the lips.

If angels could smiled for real, he would have.
