At YIBO'S PENTHOUSE
Zhan after placing the soft toy in Yibo's arms just smiled as he found the boy cuddling with the soft toy as soon as it was kept in his arms and the scene is too cute for Zhan to handle, as it looked like his baby got a baby in his arms, and as this thought crossed his mind he just chuckled and then looked again at the figure which is sleeping peacefully in front of him.
Zhan seeing this once again settled beside Yibo as his hand moved toward Yibo's hair as he ruffles the boy's hair tenderly which made the other person purred in satisfaction.
Zhan seeing this chuckled and has no heart to leave this place but he know that his work is waiting for him so he with a heavy heart got up and just before moving out he glances at the boy again and takes out his phone to click a photo of sleeping Yibo, as the boy was looking too cute sleeping like this without any care of the world and moreover, Zhan didn't even know that will he be able to get a chance to see the younger like this once again or not, so he just takes out his phone and after clicking the photo of the younger leaves the room.
Zhan after leaving the room just looks around as he settles on the sofa to relax his sore muscles since he had slept while sitting only so he feels that his whole body is numb. After a few minutes, he looks around when suddenly something clicked him so he just takes out his phone and dials a number and waits for the other one to answer.
"Morning, Zhan!" Came the response as the call is answered.
"Good morning, Cheng!" Spoke Zhan.
"How are you, Zhan?" Asked Cheng.
"Fine!" Spoke Zhan and then with a pause continued, "what are the schedules for Yibo, today?"
Cheng hearing this just chuckled as he spoke, "such a caring husband you are, Zhan!" Which made Zhan smile as Cheng continued, "He has a photo shoot and an interview scheduled at SEAN STUDIO!"
Zhan hearing this just hummed as he asked, "when are you required to reach there?"
"At 3:00 pm" came a straight answer.
"Okay, and about his lunch?" Asked Zhan.
"Oh! He is going to have takeout!" Replied Cheng.
Zhan on hearing this frowned spoke, "no need for takeout I will make fried rice for him!"
"But Zhan, you-" Cheng was about to speak when he was stopped in middle by Zhan as he speaks, "it's unhealthy to have takeout every time, I will cook for him and then leave!"
Cheng knows that it's impossible to convince Zhan when it comes to something related to Yibo, so he just spoke, "Okay, Zhan!"
Zhan after ending the call texted Kuan that he will reach the office by 1:00 pm and after that, he rolled up his sleeves and removed his tie as he relaxes, and moved toward the kitchen. As he enters the kitchen he just opens the fridge and sees some vegetables so he decides to cook Fried Rice for Yibo.
Zhan learned cooking from his mother and grandmother, though being the richest family in China Zhan could get anything he wanted, but he was trained by his mother in basic life skills and cooking was one of them as his mother always told him,
"Money can be lost, Zhan er, but things you once learned will always be with you, so be independent Zhan"
Zhan who was a 10-year-old boy then always said, "Mom, your Zhan will always be independent"
Which always made the latter smile.
Zhan at that time has always loved cooking for his loved ones and his interest soon turned into a hobby, though after taking the position of the CEO of Xiao Group of industries he rarely gets time to cook but when he does he makes the best out of it.
Zhan after half an hour was done with the fried rice and after making it he just put a note on the table addressed to Cheng which mentions
"Cooked Fried Rice for Yibo before leaving just heat it before
serving it to him
-Zhan"
Zhan after placing the note just looked around once again and left the penthouse to enter the elevator as he presses the button for the parking floor. Zhan after reaching the parking just sees his driver waiting for him who on seeing Zhan opens the door for him.
Zhan after entering the car just speaks, "to Xiao Corporation"
"Yes sir" came the response
And with this, the car zooms in the direction of Xiao Corporation followed by the two security cars.
At XIAO CORPORATION
Zhan reached the building of the corporation at 1:00 pm and as soon as the car stopped in front of the building, the drivers run from his side to open the door for his boss.
Zhan straightens himself as he steps out of the car and walks into the building of Xiao corporation. It was half an hour to lunch and the building reception was bustling with the sounds of employees but the moment the front door was opened everything went pin-drop silence as they saw the man of power and elegance walk into the building.
Zhan entered the building with a cold aura and expressionless face followed by his security team and as soon as the employees saw the CEO entering they went silent as they were too shocked to see the CEO at this hour of the day. Zhan on feeling the gaze on him and the silence just stops in his steps to turn around as he looks at everyone with his authoritative look which made everyone lower their gaze and then moves toward his personnel elevator as he entered the elevator and presses the button for the 80th floor the elevator closes making everyone present at the reception area release a breath of relief.
The elevator opens on the 80th floor with a ding and as Zhan steps out he moves toward his office. Zhan on entering the office finds Kuan and his PA Wen Ning waiting for him, who on seeing the CEO entering the office stood up as Wen Ning moves outside the office to bring the coffee for his boss.
"Good Afternoon Zhan" wished Kuan as he settles on his Chair.
"Afternoon, Kuan" replied Zhan and then with a pause continued, "notes of the morning meeting!"
Kuan hearing this just fishes out a tab and places it in front of Zhan, and the latter starts reading the notes.
As Zhan is busy reading the notes he heard a knock on the door so while reading only he speaks, "Come in!"
Wen Ning enters the office with Zhan's coffee and places it on the table and after placing it there leaves the office.
Zhan takes a sip of the coffee as he speaks, "so, what is the increment in the sale of the product?"
"20%" came the reply.
"What was the target given by you," asked Zhan as he leans on the table.
"20% only!" Replied Kuan.
"Good work, they are getting better at completing tasks!" Commented Zhan as he places the tab on the table.
"Of course, they will be as they have a Hitler boss!" Commented Kuan with a teasing smile.
"Hey, I am not that bad!" Spoke Zhan.
"You are, Zhan!" Spoke Kuan as he laugh making Zhan frown.
Zhan was about to retort when suddenly his phone vibrated with a text from Cheng.
Zhan seeing this just took his phone and opens the text which showed the image of Yibo sleeping with the soft toy in his arms, which bought a face on Zhan's face, though he already clicked the picture of Yibo with the soft toy but seeing the picture sent by Cheng made him smile widely.
Kuan who was watching Zhan when saw the smile on the Young CEO's face knows the reason for the smile so he asks, "is it Yibo, again?"
Zhan just nods his head and places the phone in front of Kuan, who on seeing the photo just smiles and speaks, "isn't he looking like a baby!"
"Yes, he is my baby!" Replied Zhan as he caresses the photo of his beloved.
"Haha, we know it, Zhan!" Spoke, Kuan, as he watches Zhan's action with a pause, continued, "don't you feel he should also know this!" As he knows how much Zhan craves the boy's love and attention but he never tells anyone and Today also Kuan when saw the smile on CEO's face knew that the reason might be his husband, Xiao Wang Yibo as he is the only person that can make this cold-hearted person smile.
Kuan knows how much Zhan loves Yibo but the other is oblivious to the feelings of Zhan for him as the older never came in front of him. Kuan always wanted to make Yibo know about the existence of Zhan and his care for him but he was not able to do it as Zhan had always stopped him, but today seeing Zhan in his daze he just couldn't stop himself so he asked the question he always asked from Zhan.
Zhan who was in his daze when heard the question just wanted to scream, that how much he wants the younger to know his existence, to take the younger in his arms and tell him that how much Zhan loves his Yibo but his self-control always stops him as he doesn't want the younger to hate him so Zhan as usual smiles and moves toward the French window of his office.
As the young Ceo is standing there a peaceful silence is spreading in the office when suddenly his phone rings, zhan fishes out his phone and saw director Lay calling. He composes himself before answering the call and after a few minutes, he ended the call and turned toward kuan as he speaks,
"Kuan, let's move. I need to inspect SEAN STUDIO to make sure everything is fine before yibo comes!"
And with this both the men leave the room to head toward their destination.
