185. Rottmnt Headcanon Scenario 3: Pokemon Trainers

- Started getting into Battle Royal battles and sometimes the last one standing

- Carries a few escape items (poke doll, fluffy tail, or poke toy)

  • To make a quick getaway or to keep the other pokemon busy if he has to do something else

- Often gets a few scratches from pokemon in the safari zone (even before he tries to throw bait at them)

- Still a bit intimidated by the amount of effort put into pokeblocks or poffins and what moves are the best for certain categories

 • Eventually felt comfortable after winning his first toughness contest (tempting to try the cuteness category with his pancham and stufful)

- Sometimes spars with his hariyama or hitmonchan for an early warm up training

- Accidentally caught a shiny chewtle when it tried take away a pizza slice

 • It evolved to a drednaw right after the turtwig egg hatched (It also acts as a slight mentor along with Raph's blastoise)

- Currently raising a turtwig as his second starter pokemon (it used to have a habit of biting him but, slowly settled down after getting its own poke doll)

Mikey

- Mostly fire types into two specific teams

 • Contests: darumaka, pansear, and lampent

 • The other for battles: torkoal, flareon, and arcanine

- The strongest at pokemon contests, along with his expertise towards making poffins or pokeblocks (often sharing a lot with his friends and family)

 • Tends to struggle in the cleverness category but, passes with flying colors in the other categories

- A fan of double battles, often using moves like helping hand or recycle for the extra boost

- Made a few pokepuffs on his own and attempted some curry recipes

- Once a month, will always treat his pokemon to a lava cookie or casteliacone

- Collects a lot of the seals/stickers for ball capsules

 • Uses almost every type and constantly changes it

- Doesn't have the heart to throw mud at any pokemon in the safari zone and instead tosses more bait

- Still slightly afraid of ghost pokemon (accidentally caught a litwick in a panic but, slowly appreciates it after it helped win a cuteness category contest) 

- Befriended a wild scorbunny as his second starter pokemon (It often acts as the cheerleader on his team, still unsure if it wants to participate in contests or regular battles) 

Donnie

- Utilizes steel types but, has some interest for poison or dark types

 • Current team: an aron, metagross, magnezone, excadrill, and klefki

- Has more patience with effort value training and shiny hunting (could spend days looking for a purple shiny pokemon)

 • However, gets sort of impatient waiting for berries to grow (mostly for occa, chople, shuca, and charti berries)

  - Takes advantage of status moves (like autotomize, stealth rock, metal sound) and items (cell battery, smooth rock, and metal coat)

- Enjoys rotation battles and sets up the status moves before sending out an attack

- Built a bike that has the option to switch acro and mach settings with ease

- Attempts to get the rare catches at the safari zone but, eventually loses all pokeballs or reached the time limit before he could try to get one

- Understands what movesets to use for a specific contest but, can be a perfectionist for well rounded stats

 • Excels at the beauty and cleverness categories (also the only ones he prefers to work with)

-  Obtained a rotom after he finished repairing a microwave (it prefers to stay out of its pokeball and has switched to its other forms at least once)

- Got a snivy for his second starter pokemon (Part of a deal when Leo wanted a shiny froakie)

 • Despite its clumsy personality, Donnie and the rest of his pokemon will give a harsh glare to anyone or pokemon who decides to bully it

Even though I branched away from pokemon; it was nice remembering what made each region special for everyone
