He found himself in the very situation he had been dreading. His uncle's glare was averted from him to the note and then back at him , his cousin stared at both him and her father with confusion and fear . His uncle finally crunched the note furiously before glaring at him .
" alright , Yu ! I've been putting up with your suspicious behavior for the longest time ! I am a detective and it is my job to capture criminals and question suspicious individuals , yet I chose to turn a blind eye to every unexplainable incident or coincidence which was related to you in the time you've been here , and now I see an actual death threat in my own house !!! "
" daddy ! " the little girl defensively exclaimed " big bro did nothing wrong ! Don't treat him like he's the bad-! "
" Nanako ! Go to your room ! " his uncle furiously turned to his daughter and yelled at her
" b-but ... ! Big bro ... is ... cough ! Cough ! " the girl couldn't continue her objection as she was stopped by sobbing and a coughing fit
" Nanako " the boy knelt kindly in front of his little cousin " you're still sick , go back to your room and rest , okay ? "
" b-but ... "
" don't worry , my uncle wants the truth , and the truth is I'm not a bad guy , and I'll make him see it " he gave her a reassuring smile " I'm more worried about your cold worsening so don't let that happen , okay ? "
" r-right ... "
The little cousin reluctantly agreed and left the room , but not before looking one last time at him with teary eyes . He responded with a confident smile , and a thumbsup , to which she slowly nodded and finally left the room . The boy stood and looked into his uncle's angry eyes firmly , he made up his mind and he knew exactly what to say . This conversation was long overdue ...
" uncle , what I'm about to tell you is a story the likes of which you've never heard of in your entire life , yet I swear it's absolutely true , as absurd and otherworldly as it may sound . Everything that I'm about to say to you is as real as me standing before you . Will you listen ? "
" I'm listening ... " his uncle was taken aback by his serious tone , but that was all the more reason for him to listen " go on ... "

And now , I have ... once again ... something I'd like to hear your opinion about . Yeah , I'm making a habit out of this , but it's really interesting to read the comments you write on my stories , more specifically the ones that answer my questions .
So what are we discussing this time ? Well .........
I think it's about time I announce that I plan to write a Persona 4 fanfiction once this one is over( or maybe when this season is over ) . That's right , Persona 4 Mysterious Mist is a currently a concept in my mind
I'm not sure I like the cover I made , though .... well , it's still a concept . Now , the thing about Persona 4 that we need to get straight right off the gate ... is that its story is weaker than Persona 3 .
The whole concept of murder mystery sounds cool on paper , but the way they utilized it in Persona 4 is wrong . The whole story hinges on who this one mysterious person is , once you know who that person is , the story loses most of its glory . Admittedly , Persona 4 does a great job of putting you in the shoes of the protagonist , even asking you who you think the killer is . That sounds amazing, but if you were ... God forbid ... spoiled by anyone or anything ... then what's the point ? It's even worse because the critical plot point is so fragile that even a harmless fanart could spoil it . You have no idea how difficult it was for me to find a suitable cover for Persona 4 because the cool looking ones clearly show the killer , and I'm sure almost everyone who would start reading a Persona 4 fanfiction has either finished the game or was spoiled probably .
" focus on the journey ... not the destination ... "
Yeah , well I can't say I liked the journey , either . Literally the first three dungeons are , in a nutshell , someone gets kidnapped , rescue them , ask them who kidnapped them and they go ' eeeh , can't remember ' , and repeat . For comparison, in the first three months of Persona 3 , we get trapped in a monorail on a collision course with death , lost in Tartarus with no navigator and hypnotized by a shadow in a love hotel , then in the beach we receive some daunting exposition about one of our members . Persona 4 ? Well , we do the same exact rescue missions three times . No variety , no tension , nothing .
Look , I get it , it's supposed to be more lighthearted, and I love it . I love Persona 4 , but these flaws need to be addressed ! A re-narration of this game would be a parody at best , and even then I don't think I can top Himsday's comics !
So a Persona 4 fanfiction will have a lot of differences between its events and the original game . And I'm here to determine if you want me to include two specific differences . Before we begin , please ensure to comment your two answers in two separate comments ... I'll explain why in a bit , but just help me here and roll with it , okay ? First of all ...
Do you want a female protagonist along with the male protagonist like in Persona 3 Red and Blue ?
If you answer with no , I obviously wouldn't include one , but if you answer with yes , then she automatically dates Yosuke ( because the poor boy deserves some love okay ?! ) , along with her own unique social links , several of which might not be present in the game . She will also be a class lower than the male protagonist ,so she won't go to the same class as him . Also , if you answer with yes , I want you to specify what personality do you want her to be ? Tsundere ( nervously denies what she feels ) named Yuna Narukami , who likes movies , more specifically murder mysteries and horror , and fights with a long rod or a stick ? Kuudere ( seems strangely careless and quiet ) named Yuui Narukami , who's a gamer and a sucker for hectic city life , and fights using a sword or a rapier ? Or a Dandere ( shy and timid ) named Shizuka Narukami , who likes drawing , and reading or watching anything romance related , and fights with a bow and arrows ?
The next question ...
Do you want the killer from the fanfiction to be different from the one in the game ?
If you answer with yes , I'll randomly choose one of Inaba's residents to be the killer . It could be Ryotaro Dojima , or even Yukiko Amagi . If you answer with no , I obviously won't change who the culprit is . Keep in mind , I won't take opinions about who the new killer might be , I'm just going to consider wether you want the original killer to be the same . Now , here's the thing about this question . Unlike other questions , I will keep the results of this debate a secret , and I may or may not follow the choice of the majority . Comments that decide who the killer is WILL BE DELETED from this book to ensure minimal spoilers . That's why , I would really appreciate it if your comments on the identity of the killer and the presence of a female protagonist are not the same comment , because anything that mentions the killer will be deleted from the book entirely . All of this is done to ensure your experience in the upcoming fanfiction to be as original as possible . I hope you understand .
