The more they hung out, the more Casey fell for Braxton, and the more she became oblivious. With Toni spending all her time with Cheryl, Kevin with Moose, Betty and Jughead, and Veronica with Archie, all she really had was Fangs and Casey.

Now, don't get it wrong. Braxton still adored Fangs and loved him unconditionally, but he was after all Sweet Pea's right hand man. She didn't want to be hanging out with him and it suddenly turn in to a Q&A on what happened and what's going on in her life. She didn't know what he would relay back to SP.

When Braxton got home from the Wrym after school she walked into the kitchen and saw Casey sitting at the island talking to her mom. She was taken back by his sudden change in appearance. He got a haircut. "Hey?" She said surprised with a small laugh. "Hey." He replied with a smile. "Hope you don't mind. I stopped by and your mom said you were gone and invited me in. Braxton looked towards Isabelle who seemed charmed by Casey. "I figured you'd be home soon anyway." She replied turning her attention to Braxton.

They stood awkwardly for a few seconds before Isabelle said, "I should go check the laundry. It was lovely meeting you, Casey." And excused herself.

"So that's your mom?" He asked her once she cleared the room Braxton had been open about her history with her mom when they were friends before. "It is. She uhm- claims she got clean. So she's been staying with us." Braxton replied.

"That's good."

"Yeah.. it is. I dig the hair cut by the way." She told him trying to change the subject.

"You do?"

"Sure. You're looking like a whole snack."

Casey couldn't help but laugh as he felt his face turn red at what she had just said to him. Luckily Braxton turned to get a water out of the fridge so he was able to somewhat compose himself. She slid one across the island to him.

"So, how's Archie feeling about his court date tomorrow?" He asked. "He's nervous, as he should be. His fate is in the hands of twelve strangers." She replied.

"What does his mom say about it? I mean, she is his lawyer, right?"

"She thinks Archie has a good chance of waking away from this. And I agree. I mean, how can you convict someone of murder when there were no witnesses and there's no weapon."

"On the other hand, how could you prove someones innocents? It's all hear say at this point."

"Don't remind me." Braxton rolled her eyes.

"Do you want me to come with you?"

"To the trial tomorrow?"

"Why not."

"Yeah, that would actually be really great." She smiled.
