You scrubbed the plate with surprising joy as your favorite song, House of Wolves by My Chemical Romance played.

Take this to my grave." You sang putting the plate in the dish washer. You spun around the kitchen, picking up a wooden spoon and sang into it.
"You play ring around the ambulance,

We got innocence for days!" You dropped a dishrag and made a mental note to pick it up. When you were about to sing the chorus, your front door opened to someone (Pete) yelling
"Guess who!"
You screamed and slipped on the dishrag, hitting your head on the counter.
"Shit!" Pete exclaimed, running over to you.
"Hey Pete." You groaned, rubbing the back of your head.
"Hey lovely. Sorry about the scare." Pete chuckled embarrassedly.
"It's fine cutie. Mind helping me up?" You smirked. Pete gave you a hand and pulled you up.
"Damn you sure know how to make yourself known." You joked. Pete smiled and kissed your forehead.
"Eh, what are friends for?" He shrugged.
