2/5: Surprise kisses initiated by (Y/N)
❤️Ghibli Hug❤️
The school bell ring interrupting (Y/N)'s focus on watching the movie "Ponyo" as they paused the video. Ending the scene where the orange haired girl hugs the black haired boy. The hug animated with such power and full of wholesome feeling.
This gave (Y/N) an idea as they hurried out of the door.
At the lair...
Raph stood by the entrance and started hearing the sound of footsteps. He squints at the figure in the distance, rushing at full speed. He kept his guard up as the individual lunged at him. But, the weight of a slightly heavy backpack overpowered him as he recognized (Y/N). Embracing his neck into a heartfelt hug. Before he had the chance to say a hello, (Y/N) immediately sends a loving kiss on his lips as their way of greeting their loving boyfriend.
(Y/N) giggled at the flustered state Raph was in, nearly stuttering his words.
"If you're done with training for the day, hopefully you can make some time on watching Studio Ghibli movies."
"I wanted to try the ghibli hug on you!" (Y/N) said smiling at him.
"Its been a while since I've seen those."
"Pops used to play that when he wasn't feeling like telling a bed time story." Raph said as he carried (Y/N) in his arms while they awed, nuzzling closer to his plastron.
The brothers overheard the mention of watching Studio Ghibli movies and started preparing stuff for today's unexpected movie night. They stopped for a few seconds noticing a shade of pink on Raph's face as the couple walked past them. And instantly switched their attention to the kitchen as the pair blinked in unison, spotting the guys fighting over one of the snacks.
"I guess I cancelled today's night patrol." (Y/N) said as Raph chuckled.
"It's sort of a slow start to the week."
"There's no harm in taking a break." Raph said as he softly pecked his partner's cheek.
After five movies, Raph carefully woke (Y/N) up as they hid their face on his lap.
"Still comfortable sleeping on a spiky turtle." Raph said as (Y/N) briefly stretched only to lay lazily on their back.
"You're a cold-blooded turtle, you need this warmth."
"And I already texted both of my parents, that I'm staying over for the night and,"
"Don't try and stop me..." (Y/N) said nearly murmuring their words.
"Okay, just making sure."
"Night (Y/N)." Raph said as he nuzzled his partner's neck while he rested his shell on his side of pillowfort.
As the couple slowly drifted to sleep by the light snoring from the other snoozing turtles.
💜Short but Sweet💜
10 pm near Donnie's lab...
Donnie made the exception of eating in his lab after (Y/N) arrived bringing food. Just as his stomach began to growl while his partner gave a sandwich from their favorite restaurant.
"You're just imagining that sound however,"
"I'm more puzzled to how you got these sandwiches, when the store is usually closed for today." Donnie said as he bit into the savory bread.
"I found out that the store has a website, including all of the food recipes."
"So, I tried making my favorite sandwich after finishing half of my homework."
"Although, I ended up burning my bread..."
"But, its no where near Leo's attempt of a scorched slice of bread." (Y/N) said as Donnie covered his mouth, not to spit in laughter, seeing the darkish but, still crisp brown bread.
"I don't mind sharing half of mine if you're still bothered by that." Donnie said as (Y/N) hummed noticing half of the sandwich left in his hand.
"Wouldn't it count as an indirect kiss if I chew on the part of the sandwich you just bit into?" (Y/N) said in an innocent tone, staring at him with puppy eyes as blush covered Donnie's purple bandana.
"(Y/N)! You watch too much anime and please get your mind out of the gutter!" Donnie exclaimed as his partner smirked.
"You're the one who thought of that, not me..."
"And D, you still have some crumbs near your face..." (Y/N) said as they leaned forward.
Initiating the kiss for a few seconds, then slowly moved away, wiping the tiny bits of food near his cheek with a clean napkin.
Donnie silently stood there with a slight glare at his partner.
"At this point, I'm just stunned I fell for that..." Donnie said as (Y/N) giggled.
"Most of our kisses at the lab are just subtle because of how many times,"
"Your brothers barge into the room."
"I think they get the message when I stayed over a few weeks ago."
"Especially when you were too stubborn to sleep." (Y/N) said as Donnie sighed.
Remembering that event very vividly
(Y/N) held onto him as his head rested on their fragile yet soft human skin. The more Donnie complained, (Y/N) ignored any signs of pulling away from the embrace. After three minutes, (Y/N) delicately smooched his forehead, sending the hug into a gentle squeeze. He finally gave up lulled to sleep by his loving partner.
"(Y/N), can I ask for one thing, if its no trouble with you?" Donnie asked as (Y/N) blinked a bit surprised, seeing the turtle twiddling his fingers.
"Sure, since you said it politely." (Y/N) said.
"Phew... Is it okay if the kisses last a bit longer?"
"Something about your kisses give such a calming effect..."
"And being the little spoon is just,"
"Honestly, words can't describe how lucky I have you as a partner..."
"To experience that wonderful feeling..." Donnie said as (Y/N) fully blushed hearing the sincere statement.
"It should be illegal with how you make words sound like honey but, to answer your question."
"Its a yes." (Y/N) said as a grin appeared on Donnie's face.
Prompting him to hug (Y/N), overjoyed about that answer.
💙Late Night Conversations💙
Leo couldn't help but, yawn after placing one of his comics to side. Revealing one of his red slider stripes after rubbing the light blue bandana, above the left side of his face.
"Feeling sleepy Leo?" (Y/N) asked as he shook off the drowsy feeling as if it were nothing.
"Puh-lease, and weren't you the one who brought soda just so,"
"You could finish a last minute homework assignment." Leo said.
"Just got it done as you said that and it won't be around,"
(Y/N) briefly checks their phone for the time and looks back at him.
"4 am when I get the sugar crash."
"Its a pain trying to force yourself asleep." (Y/N) said as Leo laughs.
"First to crash has to pay for tomorrow's pizza." Leo said as (Y/N) lightly throws a sofa pillow at his face.
3:30 am...
"Your studying/homework playlist really has nothing but video game soundtracks." Leo snickered as (Y/N) took back their phone.
"Its a change of pace from the usual lofi hip hop beats Donnie suggested."
"The last study session nearly ended in a jam session like that one time you guys were at the Mystic Library." (Y/N) said.
"I'm honestly surprised that we weren't banned from the place but,"
"There's definitely at least one song where you just, lose yourself to the rhythm,"
"Or if, you get a nostalgic feeling about your favorite game." Leo said as (Y/N) hummed.
"I had a few times where I lost another 30 minutes remembering the good ol days."
"So, I rather pick from a soundtrack where I haven't played the game." (Y/N) said.
"And Donnie would say, just watch a no commentary walkthrough to get some of the experience since games are expensive." Leo added.
"That and not to waste money on a terrible game." (Y/N) said.
Minutes after 4 am...
(Y/N) heard light snoring as they spot Leo without his mask. The turtle sleeping on his side using one of the cans as an unexpected pillow near his face. This prompted a mischievous grin as they switched the warm drink with a cold one. Immediately causing Leo to sit up.
"Hey that's-"
(Y/N)'s quick peck on his left red stripe stunned him with a blushing face as he held his cheek. Astonished by the sudden action.
"Cold..." Leo finally adding to his previous comment as (Y/N) giggles.
"Well, looks like someone lost..." (Y/N) said as Leo pulls them into a hug and lays on his shell.
"Not if, I take you with me!" Leo said returning a smooch back at them.
Near the start of the early afternoon, Leo ended up being teased, now that his brothers found out he was secretly dating (Y/N).
🧡Just Desserts🧡
"Wait, what's a dessert pizza?" Mikey asked as (Y/N) opened a pizza box filled with a chocolate chip pizza pie.
"That's just a huge cookie at this point!" Raph said as (Y/N) took a slice.
"The owner of this bakery used to be in the pizza business and went for a more dessert take on it."
"Just don't mention mixing a regular pizza with sweets or else you get a glare from him." (Y/N) said.
"So, no punny pastries as well." Leo said as the others winced at the one liner.
Mikey noticed a paper underneath the box, now pulling it out as he looked at the words.
"What's with the flyer?" Mikey said as (Y/N) looked over his shoulder to see the paper.
"I overheard the owner is doing a secret menu and I guess, I got lucky with one of the papers."
"Weird how most of the foods are up to two people but, since Mikey found the flyer first,"
"He has first pick on what to choose, the next time I visit that place." (Y/N) said.
"U-uh sure, maybe that one..." Mikey said pointing at one of the items as (Y/N) typed a reminder of the codename.
"I'm free next Friday, hopefully it doesn't bother the usual-"
"You're never a bother (Y/N), and I'll be happy to go with you on the date." Mikey said as he sees a faint blush and smile from them.
Timeskip to next Friday evening...
A large crowd prevented the teens to get a table at the bakery. Mikey waited by the entrance and after thirty minutes, he grinned seeing (Y/N). Holding the plastic bag with the cake, disposable plates and utensils, and two water bottles.
The couple stopped at a rooftop building that had a clean table and two chairs. Now beginning to set up the dessert place.
After a few minutes, Mikey was about to take a bite out of his cake until he saw (Y/N). Contemplating on their piece and only gripping on the spoon.
"Did you order the wrong-"
"Ah! No it's just, you wouldn't mind if I give you a spoonful of mine?" (Y/N) asked with a blushing face, holding out the spoon with some of the cake towards him.
Mikey recognized the adorable gesture as he chuckled, closing his eyes in a jubilant manner and opened his mouth. It didn't take long for him to realize as his eyes open, seeing (Y/N) kissing his lips. Both teens pull away after the swift smooch.
"Sorry for the abrupt kiss but, I just hate how anime couples tease each other too much in these sort of dates."
"To be honest, you're way too good for that and,"
"You have more of the early anime protagonists' energy where, being sweet from the start is such a powerful feeling."
"Like, I'm so tired of the uncaring and distant guys who get attention from the pretty girls."
"Who deserve so much better than some bland looking boy." (Y/N) said as Mikey softly smiles.
"Awww, that's really nice of you to say that."
"And not gonna lie, anime's still a bit rough to get through those awkward romance scenes."
"Healthy communication is key to a good relationship." Mikey said holding a spoonful of a cake as (Y/N) chuckles biting into the spoon now eating it.
Food tasting acted as a monthly thing between the couple, especially when it came to following a recipe.
