Handful of those who waited for the next assignment, hanged onto the walls or the seats that they sat on. The earth shook under them from what ever was happening outside with the other examinees. Shoto, who was one of the first of his classmates to pass, knew, right off the bat, that it was Koyuki battling intensely with someone. Yet he couldn't know who it was that was able to be on par or near her level of power to cause the earth to shake.
"Are you all right, Koyuki?" Clear frown of worry on his brows, yet to catch the glare from the boy, Yanase, who interrupted their high school chant.
Aizawa frowned seriously, critically watching the youngest Dragneel combat with another female- a wizard- with similar magic as her, yet the waters were a starry warp of water. 'This was not precedented...' Narrowing his dried eyes onto the two Slayers, Koyuki swiped up her clawed ice. The bluenette leapt back, flipping in midair; digging their fingers into the ground and smiled up to the silverette. Charging at the other and fists flying and connected for the force of winds to blow the rubbles back from the force of their strengths.
Miss Joke felt a nervous sweat at the sight of the two girls fighting, "Isn't that one of yours? The mage one-- I mean, Dragoon-chan?"
Humming, confirming that yes, that is his student who suckered punched the girl under their chin, "I swear." The green haired heroine glanced the man, curios now; seeing the irked reaction on the man, "She's too competitive for her own good."
Connecting their fists to the others face, smirks still present on both girl's faces.
"Not bad." Swiping her leg up and connecting the bluenette's face; sending them flying and smashing through the risen rocks. Tilting her chin up to the Water God Slayer, "But you got some work to do." Stepping back, the earth before her sliced in a straight line, azures glancing to the one that caused such cut. The one named Hana, from the distance and beside the sharp shooter, Shira; both held narrowed eyes on the Fairy Tail wizard.
Smirking at this, "Now I get the feeling, a storm is coming." Cracking her fists, causing them to freeze up; creating hardened iced fists. Which was enough for Hana to charge in, crossing her scissor blades and sounding off a clang. Shira aimed her large sniper, cocking it and releasing its bullet; her visible eye widening and revealed scope-like vision, locking onto her target. Digging her teeth on her lollipop stick, "Target Locked" The head of the gun powering up with lighting charging in, "Triple Shot!" Sonic winds blasted behind her, the earth shattering under knee's and feet. The golden bullet separating into three. Hana leapt up and twirled in midair, dodging the zooming bullets.
Koyuki clicked her tongue, pushing her feet forward, causing Shira to feel her orb widen, 'She's not going to dodge it?!'
Roaring out, with such speed, she flicked the first bullet up to the skies; exploding in air and ringing out with a shrilling squeals. Swiping her leg at the second and sending it to the side, smashing her foot down and pivoted to grab the third and final bullet; with narrowed azures of excitement, fling forward the glowing bullet back to its owner. The ravennette felt the hair's on her back stand in horror, "Oh shit--" Flipping away and rolling on the earth; crying out at the explosion behind her.
Clicking her tongue, Hana sliced thrice and sent torrent of winds to the Slayer. Bringing her iced arms up and cringed the blast from such force, digging her feet in the earth and in which shattered the earth; to the point it cratered the earth up. Crying out, the winds pushing her hands up and revealing the slices on her ice; glaring up to the damage on fists. Turning to the purple-magenta haired mage rushing to her, drawing back their swords, 'Now she's a tough one.' Yet a smirk bloomed on her lips, "I'm ready for a storm!!"
Recoating her fists with new layer, blasting off with a large dent where she flew off; pulling back her fist, "Ice Dragon's Titanium Fist's!!"
"Winds Blades!" X magenta winds blasting at the Slayer, throwing up rubble.
"Water God's Heaven Rains!" Coming in from above and torrents of dark blue beams raining from above.
Charles watched this with a nervous frown, arms crossed; their collateral combination caused a chain reaction of winds, light and rubble to fly around and blind the stadium. A single sweat falling from his temple, "Goodness gracious, of those three continued on, there won't be a exam left to continue on..."
Ochako, Sero, and Izuku hid behind the rubbles that one of Miss Jokes students caused; seeing the flying of rocks, currents of winds beating the boulder. Even though they were in a fickle against handful of other examinees on the other side, the brunette couldn't help to turn to Izuku with worried eye's, "Shouldn't we help Koyuki-chan?"
"No." Both turned to the greenette in surprise at his quick reply; even the confident smile, "I believe in Koyuki-- She'll win."
"Deku-kun..." Bewildered at his confidence for the Dragneel. Hanta chuckled lowly, "Sheesh, and you two are not together yet?" Smirking to himself, "Imagine when she hears about that Shiketsu chick."
"Huh?!" Snapping to the teen in flustered surprise.
Uraraka only perked her lips, trying to hide her smile.
Dodging under the scissor blade, blocking Crystal's dark miasma colored fist's; kneeing Hana's side and twirling her leg back, connecting the bluenette's temple. Both of her opponents crying at the pain from the hit, palming both girls and chanting out, "Hydro Charge!" Rocketing them both back, seeing their bodies rolling and leaving cracks and holes from hitting the ground.
Hopping her legs back and forth, "Wo! That was something!" Then froze when the sniper and the two blondes returned, seeing both wounded girls stand. The two female wounded wizards unleashing their respective wave of magic, causing the pressure to sky rocket. They weren't the only ones, the three other mages followed suit; now feeling the odds of being against five-- Six now. Rebecca calmly walking with a broad smile, her square lenses flashing and revealing her narrowed eye's of excitement. Even with the large odds stacked against her, Koyuki only smirked broadly; her azures revealing their reptilian slits, "I'm so ready for this hectic storm~"
Like a flag was dropped, all sides of the spectrum charged in: flipping her sniper for close combat and swung it to the silver Slayer. Dodging it from under and leapt up and swung her leg to connect it from behind the nape, torrents of water propelling her to helicopter and smash her soles into both earth users; sending them flying. Parrying the sword with her back hand, meeting narrowed magenta's, she could hear the sparks and clatter of the ice and metal. Hana, pressing both blades with more force onto the ice. Crying out at the sudden smash of skulls, Koyuki quickly dropped and kicked her from below; blasting hydro waters at the girl, causing Hana to smash into Crystal and Rebecca.
"Get off me!" Raged the bluenette, making the purple-magenta girl to glare down at the wizard, "You're so vexing." The lenses mage only smiled it off, even though she held an irked sweat, "So whiney."
Taking this chance of distraction and headed to large boulders; Hana and the rest of the wizards to snap where the silverette ran. Rushing after the running mage; Koyuki running off with more speeds, using time to time Hydro Charge to give her a boost.
Smirking her pink lips, X-ing her crossed fingers, "You can't run from me, dragon sweetie~" Whipping water whips at the running silverette; frowning when the mage pivoted around and smirked to them, "Is that how we seemed."
'We?' Many thought in surprise; that is till Rebecca snapped in horror and chanted "Solid Script: Wind!" Flying back. Hana, orbs dilating in horror and flung herself back, not without grabbing Shira from the scruff of her uniform.
Leaving Crystal and the two blondes to wonder why they retreated till they felt coils of water chains snapped from the grounds, coiling around their bodies. Feeling themselves pale in shock, "Wha-What?!" Then a bright light glowed from above; seeing Koyuki's cheeks puffed, "Water" Crystal, her orange orbs widening in awe; she could clearly remember as a child aweing at Sorcerer Weekly's latest magazine. Her eye's sparkled at the sight of the smirking Polar Siblings; Natsu, wrapping an arm around the silverette. While the silverette, held her fist up. Both their Exceeds flying above them with bright or shy smiles. "Ice" Smiling gently at the sight, "What beautiful combination." But snapped into reality when her twin brother froze the waters and rushed off with her in arms, "You're still a child in heart." Narrowing ahead, "Dragon's" How his sister waved the magazine to him within the orphanage, boasting how one day when they were old enough; they'll join a guild and meet Snow Fairy. "A foolish child, sis." Watching the wizard she idolize roared out a beam of water-ice towards the two blondes, "ROAR!!!"
Smiling still to herself, "Yeah..." Orange orbs smoldering happily, "But can you blame me, I've looked up to her to the point of loving her."
Landing between the unconscious duo, quickly getting to work; even with the rush of adrenaline and excitement, she shouldn't forget her assignment. Tapping their targets quickly, hearing their pads declaring them out. Her own lit up and announced her passing, "You've passed, so please proceed to the reception room. Quickly now." With that, Koyuki sighed out deeply, "Wah...! I hadn't felt that exhaustedly excited since battling bro!" Peeping in surprise at the light head-chop from Yuki, "No whining from you. Let's go."
Pouting childishly, "Yes ma'am." Narrowing childishly as well, "Why am I being treated the kid of this relationship." Only for the twin to smile proudly, "One of us has too."
With Izuku's group, they had passed their battle and were heading to the reception room where other examinees waited. Hearing Kaminari's voice call out to them, "Hey, is that you, Sero-san?! Nice going there, buddy!"
The three noticing their presence, Denki's, Eijirou's, and Katsuki's forms; waving to them, "Kaminari! Nice going yourself!" Which the four, Izuku's teammates and Katsuki's to chant their victory; leaving him and Katsuki secluded from their ears. red ruby's narrowed at the young Midoriya, "So you passed, fuckin Deku."
"Kacchan, ah, yeah, I did." A bit nervous at the ash-blonde's presence. But Bakugou only stalked past the greenette, miffed, "No wonder, given that power of yours." Causing Izuku to snap up in bewilderment, "Huh?!" Panicking tremendously, where did they get such thought, "Wha-- huh?!" Freezing still at Katsuki's next words, "That borrowed power, you made it your own, huh?"
"Koyuki! You have cuts on your hands!" Katsuki, snapping his head back; his vision blurring to seeing a chained down girl, smiling up to him. However, that melted away and revealed a bashful, covered in scraps and cuts, Dragneel, rubbing her hands, "Yeah, my match against those guys were a tough one."
"Should we bandage it up?! Do they have any kits?" Ochako rambled off, worried for the wounded mage. Only to pause at Yuki's hand petting the brunette's bob hair, "No worries, Ochako." Thumb pointing at the silverette beside her, "This one'll get injured no matter what. So don't stress to much."
Pouting at the twin, "You're so mean..." Perking up upon seeing Katsuki's narrowed stare, waving to the ash-blonde like she did not rushed off from the group, "Yo~!"
Clicking his tongue, "Hurry it up, Frozo." Muttering the last one lonely, "You look like shit."
Rolling her azures, "What flattery." Nodding for her twin to follow a long, passing Izuku with a congratulatory thumbs up; smiling broadly. Surprised at first, then smiled shyly at the support from the girl.
Upon entering, Momo greeted them happily, "So glad to see you all here! I was worried--" Bellowing in worry at the sight of Koyuki, "Dragneel-chan! Are you alright?!"
Trying to dissuade the worry, knowing Yuki will say the same thing to Ochako, "Mah, she's fine, she's our saving grace champ! But good to see ya, Yaoyorozu-san! You guys got here quick, huh?"
"We only just arrived. Todoroki was the first." Mezo informed them; which for the silverette turned to Todoroki arriving, carrying the first aid kit and she was not going to ask where he got it, "Way to go, Shoto." Receiving a hummed "Un." for response.
"I was sure you'd beat us to it, Bakugou-san. But it makes sense now! You had Kaminari-kun with you." In which the electric blonde to cry out in pain, "Huh? take that back!"
Tsuyu pointing behind from her seat, "The key to unlock the targets is over there. We're supposed to return them to those shelves along with the ball bags." Which they quickly did so, now sitting and for Shoto to treat Koyuki's wounds, "This is becoming a constant thing, Dragneel-san."
"You treating my wounds?" Smiling broadly, even if she wanted to cringe so badly with the alcohol rubbing.
'You instant went for the kit at the sight of her form...' Eijirou and Izuku thought, the moment they entered and Todoroki saw them and Koyuki; he quickly went for the kit.
While treating Koyuki, Shoto started up a conversation, "That makes eleven from our class now. Nine to go."
"They just announced that eighty-two have passed. So there are eighteen spots left--" Until Koyuki interrupted, "Make that eighty-one." Staring at Hana, who just entered the room; her scissor blades on her back. Wondering who the mage was intensely staring at turned to the purple-magenta haired girl who sat 'ways from the rest. At first, they wondered what was her importance, till Koyuki revealed why, "That's another wizard."
"Wha?!" Kirishima snapped to the Slayer, "Is she..."
"I don't think so-- I mean..." Frowning deeply, "Why would one of Helios members walk about and join to be a hero when they know they're being hunted down. Not only that, why would there be more than one wizard joining to be heroes?"
Straightening into attention when Hana realized their stare, turning to their direction with a face of indifference; unnerving Momo and Eijirou, while Izuku and Shoto watched with narrowed eyes. That is till the girl bowed deeply to the Slayer and snapping back up with a pink blush, lips set in a upside down 'V.'
Making the silverette blink widely in confusion, "Huh?" Even more when they snapped away, not meeting their stare; as if now nervous, "She was so bent on beating me, now she's to shy to meet my eye's...."
Furthermore, she wasn't the only one to pass; the sniper gal, excited lenses, and the Moora twins passed as well; staying silent, not to catch attention on herself. Not wanting to start something, especially with her classmates cheering their victor of having everyone pass the first assignment. But kept her sights on the wizards, or if there were anymore hidden among the crowd that she didn't know of. Snapping into attention at the intercom activating, "Now, will all hundred of you please watch the screen." Feeling nervous sweat how the area didn't look well at first: many holes, craters, a destroyed dirt mountain and toppled buildings from the factory zone from her battle against the wizards. Sweating more when they suddenly exploded, her quick response, "At least it wasn't me."
Shoto, giving a poker face at Koyuki's response, "Why did you sound guilty?"
"Round two's the last one! You examinees will venture into the ruins as bystanders and prove your worth when it comes to rescuing innocent victims." Watching the screen, with all the smokes clearing and revealing the destruction left; fires rising from the dark smokes left behind, "You examinees will enter the disaster scene as bystanders and will undertake a rescue."
Even though it was a test, it was like seeing something so Deja' vu for the Slayer, "You will not act as ordinary civilians, but as those who have hypothetically earned their provisional hero licenses. You're being tested on how well you respond in rescue situations." The Mezo pointed out there were actual people within the disaster, causing many to gawk and panic for their safety; "Everyone there is a highly trained professional rescue and in high demand as of late! Please welcome the good people of Help Us Company, or H.U.C for short."
"Who knew that was even a job?!"
"Heroes are so popular nowadays, so it makes sense."
"The members of H.U.C will be feigning injuries all across the field. It is your task to rescue them. You will all be scored on how well you perform these rescues. Those who attain the required points at the end of the test will pass. We'll start in ten minutes, so take your bathroom breaks now..."
Now she knew where it reminded her, it was similar to Kamino ward and a bit of the Grand Magic Games. Clenching her treated and wrapped hands into fists, azures staring intensely to the screen.
While everyone conversed, Sero had a diabolic plan; seeing that he glanced to the silent Dragneel then turned to Denki and Minoru, "Oh boy. I've got one juicy story for you guys." Completely grabbing their attentions, hoping with Koyuki's great hearing, she'll catch this gossip:
"What's it rated?" Hearing the short teen's perverse question; but knew it'll grasp their complete attention, "R-Rated, for sure."
"I'm listening."
Pointing out the sandy-brown girl from Shiketsu, "See the Shiketsu chick in the body suit?" Getting their hums, but were slowly losing their interest, though he smirked when the silverette perked up at the mention of Shiketsu, "If you're just gonna tell us she's a hottie, you're late to the party, pal. I've been scoping her and her blue haired friend this whole time." Now it was time to lay the perfect bait; leaning close and whispering, though loud enough for the Slayer to catch, "She was hanging out with Midoriya-san behind a rock, totally nude!"
Koyuki, blinking in surprise at this, while both Denki and Minoru bellowed out in their jealous rush, "Midoriya!!" Catching the poor, unsuspecting, boy's attention; Denki grasping the surprised greenette while Mineta yapped off Izuku's ear off, "What's the big idea?! We were out there risking our necks while you're doing who knows what?!" The electric blonde joining, "In the middle of a test too? Is this a joke to you?!"
"Ouch, stop." Pleading them to stop their assault, "What's this about?!"
Snapping and pointing out the girl herself, who noticed they were pointing her out, "Don't play dumb! That girl! And Youuu! What'd you do?" Finally the three noticed the ash-brunette stared at them, till she waved with a smile; causing Denki and Minoru become monstrously envious, "That's the subtle greeting that can only happen after a guy and a girl's relationship has gone to the next level!!" Now Minoru was assisting the assault, "Boy, did we misjudge you, you womanizing scum!!"
"Ah, did Sero-san tell you that? That's not what happened!" Blocking their attacks and hoping they understood the truth, "It has something to do with her Quirk! I still don't get it myself, but she was honestly scary." Not realizing he glanced to the mage, seeing her watching them with wide azures; that strange happiness returning, just like that moment with Mei. At this both of the envious duo quickly glanced to Sero, who seemed to be smirking evilly at them- Izuku- then glanced to the mage, 'O-o-OH!!' Now they understood Hanta's plan, but what a bastard to do that to them!
"So," Koyuki, turned to the Shiketsu students, "She's with the God Slayers."
That alone snapped many to be frozen stiff, even Denki and Minoru; all snapping to Koyuki in shocked horror, "GOD SLAYERS?! THAT'S A THING TOO?!!"
Nodding at their surprised outcries, though she waved for them to lower their voices, "It's self explanatory, like I have the magic to slay dragons; they have the magic to slay gods."
"Holy shit, your world doesn't screw around..." Even though his plan took a turn, he did not expect that those TWINS were that dangerously strong.
"Koyuki..." Izuku, emeralds held concern; were those two new Slayers dangerous? Especially the way she appeared before them. He didn't trust them.
"Shiketsu's headed our way." Eijirou gave them all a heads up from the snack tables, seeing them approach. One of them approaching Katsuki for an apology on behalf of their peer's; a certain bluenette quickly spotted the silverette and smiled charmingly, "Koyuki~~!!" Shivering at the cooing tone of the God Slayer, "Oh man..."
"You passed too. That's great news!" Cutting between Izuku and pushing him aside without the mage'a notice. Izuku flinching back at the light shove, scowling at the girl's rudeness.
"I hope we can be friends!" Grasping her hands happily, the Dragon Slayer smiling down at the mage nervously, "Um...sure." Feeling more sweat breaking out at their next words, "I would also like us to be more too~~" Smiling up to the Dragneel seductively. At this, it irked few to the point they glared and felt a vein pulsing angrily, even more when she leaned up to whisper the Dragon Slayer, "You have soft lips, you know~" Crystal's rosy lips smiling in a way that made Koyuki terribly nervous.
"Uuh..." Blushing a vibrant red, eyes trying not to meet the smoldering one's below her. For some reason, it tugged a chord within Izuku. Frowning at the God Slayer, nose and cheeks flushed from his frustration towards the God Slayer.
"Wow, wizards are very bold..." Muttered Kaminari, not only are Earthlanders very powerful with magic; they're very much bold with their interests.
Ochako's chocolate brown orbs narrowed nervously on the bluenette. Noticing a certain Midoriya marching their way to the two mages with a sense of purpose, "Deku-kun...?"
Cutting in front of Koyuki and emeralds narrowed towards deep aquatic one's, "Can you please refrain yourself. You're making Koyuki uncomfortable." Snapped the Midoriya, frowning deeply at the God Slayer and her awfully inappropriate actions towards Koyuki. Okay, Earthland and Earth may have different set of rules of expressing your romantic interests. But, it doesn't change the fact how uncomfortable Koyuki is with this girl and her daring actions towards the mage. And he wasn't going to stand around and allow it to continue.
Hearing his snappy tone, everyone in 1-A were in shock. Even Katsuki and Koyuki were damned shocked at his outburst!
'Did...' Few thought in shock, 'Did Midoriya-san/Deku-kun just angrily shut her up?'
Cheeks flushing in anger and now glared heatedly towards Midoriya, lips pulled back in her anger, "Excuse me--?!"
"Okay Crystal, let's go. See you Koyuki!" Grabbing his sister's shoulder and guiding them away from the U.A students, seeing that they were already catching attention from other schools.
Once the twins left from their sights, Izuku turned to Koyuki worriedly, "Are you okay, Koyuki?"
"Yeah." Smiling lightly in appreciation, not like her broad one's, "Thank you, Izuku."
"Midoriya-san, you sly dog~" Freezing at the whispers of Minoru and Denki; smirking at the greenette now; unlike before, "Trying to get your girl jealous but that backfired when 'Stealing Your Girl' came in to seduce her in front of you." Face exploding red at their assumptions of them. He wasn't trying to do that! It was just that the God Slayer made Koyuki uncomfortable, he wasn't jealous; not even close!
Then why did he looked to Koyuki when they berated him about the Shiketsu girl? He immediately looked to her for a reaction. Biting his bottom nervously, feeling his face become warmer to the point it burned 'Oh, my god. I actually hoped she reacted...!' He actually hoped to catch any of Koyuki's jealous.
"Hey!" Snapping to Koyuki's angered voice; while he was within his mind, the teen, Yanase Yoarashi, seemed to hold a grudge against the Todoroki family. With his bluntness of saying his hatred towards Shoto, it caused the Dragneel to react and snap at the taller teen angrily, "I don't care if you don't like either of them, but come and glare at him..." Narrowed her reptilian eyes threateningly, "You're picking a fight with me."
"Dragneel-san..." Openly surprised by the Slayer's defense, even Yanase blinked widely at this. Snapping at the call of his classmate, "Something wrong, Yoarashi?"
"Nothing at all!" Glancing at the Dragneel, then leaving them behind.
Shoto, smiling lightly to Koyuki, "Thank you, Dragneel-san." Receiving a toothy smile from the girl, "No problem."
Which caused Izuku to watched Shoto, noticing the light blush seeming to bloom; glancing away, 'But it's always the other way around...' That he's the one ending up being jealous.
