She moved to New York after high school where she met Andrew, her husband/Matthew's dad. They met in a deli Andrew was working at. They got married after many dates and had their children. She's a workaholic, very business woman aesthetic. She's a bit rough towards her children. Doesn't approve of Jon's smoking, SJ's tattoos, stuff like that. She is constantly worried about her children. She's proud of her children's accomplishments, but she thinks they can do better. She's very much a business woman.

Grew up in New Jersey, went to college in New York. Very generous, the favorite parent I'm assuming. He gives his children money all the time, he loves them unconditionally and supports them all. He's the advice giver and emotional support of the family. He's proud of his children.

She's a hard worker, a nurse who mostly works night shift. First generation Mexican-American, she had Evangeline in high school. She graduated and went to nursing school to provide for Eva, she had Christopher shortly after she finished nursing school. Her ex-husband was an on and off father throughout her children's childhoods. He had been little to no contact with Chris for 6 years previous to the story. She raised her children by herself with the help of her parents. She couldn't be more proud of her children, she's the proudest of Eva for starting her own business. So proud of Christopher on becoming team captain and having an amazing boyfriend. She views Matthew as her bonus son, and his family as bonus family as they protected her from her ex. She's friends with Matthew's mom. She knows that Eva has always been interested in women and supports her in perusing Matthew's sister, Spencer.
Christopher's abuelita, Angel Gonzales *inster picture of older Hispanic woman bc I couldn't find one* Came to America when she was a young teenager. Her family immigrated from Mexico, they lived in Texas for a bit before moving to Lakewood. She met Christopher's abuelito in high school when she loved to Lakewood, he helped her learn English and with school. They dated throughout high school, got married afterwards, and had kids not too long after high school. She and her husband, Jason, were best friends with Evelyn's dad, Johnnie. She's retired and lives on the ranch by herself, her children or grandchildren don't visit often. The only ones that semi-regularly visit her are Christopher, Evangeline, and Angela. She loves Matthew and his family and accepts them as part of her family, especially Matthew and his siblings. She's proudest of Angela and her children, they're her favorites.
