It was a sunny afternoon in Night Raven Collage. In the Heartslabyul Dormitory, Cater was in his room chatting away with the Supervisor of Ramshackle Dorm, Y/n.

Cater smiled at his phone screen as his heart flutters uncontrollably whenever the girl responds.

Y/n:
Gotta go, Cater. Crowley has a mission for me to do. I'll chat later♥

The heart emoji at the end made his heart skip a beat. Cater soon respond.

Cater:
No problem! Be safe now!

Y/n:
I will☺️

The ginger sighed as he lays down in his bed with a smile on his face. He was in love with her ever since they first interacted. Ever since, he was always surprised by her everyday. But there was something that blocked his way to her heart.

Y/n likes someone and he doesn't know who.

Cater soon gave out a lovesick sigh. There was a knock on the door.

"Come in!" Cater sat up and fixed his dorm uniform a bit to look presentable. The Heartslabyul members came in. "Eh? Why's everyone here?" Cater looked at the four confused.

"There's something we like to talk to you about, if it's alright with you?" Riddle asked politely. Cater nodded with a smile.

"What's it about?" The ginger asked as the gang took a seat somewhere.

"It's about Y/n." Trey said as he sat next to Cater. Just mentioning her name gave him butterflies in his stomach.

"What about her?" Cater asked with his head tilted.

"It's kinda obvious Cater." Ace said as Deuce nodded.

"Eh? I don't get what you mean?" Cater was trying his best to look clueless, even though he knows what they mean.

"You're in love with her." Riddle told Cater as straight forward as he could.

"W-What do you mean? I-I'm not in love with Y/n! She's just a friend!" Just by saying those four words felt like poison to Cater. The four sighed.

"We've seen how you act around her Cater. You stutter a lot more, be a bit more clumsy, blush a lot, and even see hearts in your eyes." Trey explained to Cater. Cater on the other hand was internally panicking. Was he that noticable!? Did Y/n get that he likes her!? Questions filled Cater's mind.

"Cater? Are you alright? You look pale." Riddle asked as everyone in the room looked at the ginger haired male worryingly. Cater gave up the fight. He soon sighed.

"I do..." Cater said.

"Eh?" Everyone was confused by his statement.

"I do li- no, I love Y/n. Ever since we first met, it was like love at first sight. I couldn't get her out of my head." Cater explained to the gang. "I want to tell her how I feel but it would ruin our friendship. Not to mention that she likes someone."

"I see." Riddle and Trey hummed.

"That is a problem." Deuce stated as they nod in agreement. They always supported the two through everything they did together. From painting the roses red, to do some missions from the headmaster.

"Ah! I got it!" They all snapped their heads towards the strawberry blonde. "I have an idea that will surely work!!" Ace chimed with a big grin on his face.
