3rd POV
"Peeeeeeewww!! That was a blast!" Grim said as he stretched out his limbs.
"I'm glad you had fun. And it looks like it's already dinner time." Kalim said as he look at the sky outside. Sounds of footsteps were heard in the hallway as someone approaches them.
"Kalim! You're finally back. Coud you come with me, there's something I want you to check before dinner." It was Jamil. The tone of his voice indicated that he was a bit mad at Kalim. But something about it made Y/n a bit suspicious of Jamil.
"Yeah, sure. You guys can head to the lounge." Kalim said to the Ramshackle residents. The creatures did so but Y/n was reluctant at first but she has to keep an eye on them before chaos breaks loose.

In the lounge, mutters and chatter were heard all around. Smiled were on the faces of every member of Scarabia as they were enjoying themselves.
"I'm starving. I wonder what's for dinner today." A Scarabia resident said to another.
"Training kicked my ass." His friend said as he sighed his tiredness away.
"This place is heaven compared to Ramshackle Dorm with all it's holes." Grim said as he flopped on a soft cushion next to Y/n and Hooty.
"Kalim's pretty great, too. I wanna live here." Hooty added.
"Hoo!" Owlbert hooted out with a nod. A few minutes later, Jamil and Kalim stepped into the lounge. But when Y/n looked at Kalim, she noticed the unnatural orange glow in his eyes. Something was clearly wrong but she doesn't know what just yet.
"Is everyone here?" Jamil dias as the Scarabia residents soon took their attention to them. "Before we eat, our dorm head would like to make an announcement."
"An... Announcement?" A Scarabia resident muttered.
"Oh yeah, earlier he mentioned..." Grim said as he sat up from his comfortable cushion. "Ending the training and letting everyone go home for the break."
"I'm sure Scarabia will be happy but I'm sure gonna miss being able to eat like this everyday." Hooty added as Grim nodded in agreement.
"..... Originally I had decided that we of Scarabia would spend our winter vacation studying for six hours a day but..." Kalim started. The air fell thick and uneasy all of a sudden. It was unsettling to say the least. "I've realized... That is nowhere near enough!!!"
"What!?" Everyone gasped and questioned what was happening. Y/n tensed up by the sudden mood change.
"Didn't you say you wanted to let everyone go home!?" Jamil stuttered out in shock. (A/n: We all know. Give this man an oscar!!)
"That's not at all what he said earlier!!" Hooty and Grim whisper-yelled in sync.
"There's no way we can catch up to the other dorms with only six hours a day." Kalim said firmly. "We can't clear our sullied name without twice, no, five times the effort! Starting tomorrow, all of us will study for five hours followed by four hours of practical training!"
"Whaaat? That means they'll be working for nine hours a day!?" Grim whisper-yelled, stuttering a bit.
"After dinner, we'll practice defensive spells! Don't drag your feet." Kalim glared daggers into the shaken residents and the Ramshackle residents as well.
"Ye-Yessir!!" They all stuttered out. Kalim then turned to the Ramshackle residents.
"Since you're been enjoying our hospitality, you will part as well! Understood?" Kalim said to them.
