🌹Lunch Time Heat: Part 5🌹

Y/n's POV
It took us a while, but we finally caught Grim, with the help of Deuce's cauldrons and Ace's Net. I was only able to at least cut off his ways of escaping.

"No way, no way! No way I'm going back to those boring classes!" Grim yelled at me as I held him up like a child. I sighed.

"Then you won't become a great wizard." I said to him in a motherly like tone.

"Damnit! You're being extra strict today!" Grim growled a bit.

"Because I care about you Grim." I said to him as I placed him on my shoulder. He looks at me in shock.

"Y-Ya do?" I nodded at the creature. "Fine. I'll try to get through the boring classes." He sighed as I let his head.

"Thanks for helping guy." I then turned to Ace and Deuce.

"No problem!" Ace said as the net disappeared. "What the-!?"

"I conjured it up with Crowley's Crystal he gave me." I pointed to he pin as the two boys nodded. "Let's get to the next class. Break time's almost over." We soon headed to out next class.

It was finally Lunch time in Night Raven Collage, and I can't wait to have something in my stomach.

"Yay! It's finally Lunch time!" Grim cheered. "Wow? Everything always looks so good here!"

"Pretty amazing that they have a buffet." I looked at the direction of the Buffet where some students are at.

"Fluffy omurice! Grilled chicken and bacon egg tarts!" Grim nearly yelled at this point which I had to put him down for.

"You're too loud! You're only this excited during lunch..." Ace sighed.

"Hey, hey! I want some grilled chicken! It's the last one! And omurice, too! Bread with jelly, too! Just take a bunch of everything!" Grim told me as he tugged on my leg as I came up to the cash register to order.

"I'd like a grilled chicken, egg omelette with cheese, cinnamon twist bread, chocolate croissant, and an ice latte please." I said to the ghost at the register.

"That would be 645 Madol please." The ghost said as I paid for the food. There goes my Madol. I soon gave Grim his Grilled chicken but he then bumped into a student.

"Ah!" Grin yelped.

"Huh!? Watch it!" The first student growled at Grim. "Cause of you, the egg in my pasta broke!" Then his buddy joined in.

"Woah, woah, woah~~ Breaking the gooey egg is the best part of eating carbonara." His buddy smirked at Grim.

"How do you plan to pay for this!?" The first stu- screw it, Delinquent yelled at Grim as Grim backed up. Then the Delinquent soon spotted Grim's food in his tiny paws. "Hand over that grilled chicken as consolation and we'll call it even." He smirked.

"Hell no! This is my chicken!" Grim backed up more.

As he was about to grab the chicken, I stepped in. "What's the deal!?"

"Leave Grim alone. He got his food far and square." I glared at the Delinquent as he soon gritted his teeth. "I suggest you leave him alone or else." I warned him.

"Ah? Not showing your senior respect as freshmen? Come around back!" The Delinquent's buddy joined in to back up his friend.

"Ah! Setting personal squabbles with magic is prohibited..." Deuce stuttered out.

"Squabble? This is just seniors teaching their juniors proper behavior!" The Delinquent told us. Please. You're just upset because of your egg being broken is all. You can still eat it dude!!!

"Grit your teeth!!" His buddy smirked. They we're about to attack us until they were attacked by something.

"What the-!?" Me, Ace, Deuce, and Grim were taken aback. Then I noticed.

"Hooty...?" I questioned. The creature hooted and flied towards me with it's loving eyes. He hooted again as I smiled brightly. "Hooty! It's so good to see you again my friend!" I hugged my snowy Owl and let go as he rested on my arm.

"That flying chicken is yours!? Now I'm really mad!!!" The Delinquent yelled.

"Hooty. Peck." I pointed at the two as they soon we're being pecked by Hooty on their heads. I let out a laugh as Ace and Deuce were struggling to hold in their laughter as Grim was cackling with his chicken in his paws. A few minutes went by as I hauled Hooty as he soon rested in my arm one again.

"Their better then expected...." The Delinquent huffed in annoyance.

"My pasta's getting soggy so I'll let you off!" His buddy yelped as he soon saw the fury in my eyes. He gulped. They soon run off to who knows where.

"Hmph! Those guys were all talk! And never come back!" Grim yelled at the retreating figures as they disappeared in the sea of students in the cafeteria.

"They're the ones who had a problem..." I sighed as I pet my familiar's fluffy feathered head.

"Whatever. Let's just eat. After missing breakfast. I'm so hungry, I'm gonna pass out..." Ace then dragged his body to a nearby table as we followed suit.

"So this is your familiar?" Deuce asked. I nodded as Hooty hooted at Deuce friendly. "Is it ok if I...?"

"Be my guest." Hooty went to my other arm as I placed the tray of food on the table with the food on it. Deuce petted Hooty gently as we took our seats.

"He's really soft." Deuce chuckled as I gave a giggle. "We really have no luck..." Deuce sighed after he stopped meeting Hooty. "There are so many people trying to get into this prestigious school but they let in guys like that..."

"Here you go guys. Like I promised." I then gave Deuce his once latte and Ace his chocolate croissant. "I always keep my promises." I said as I slide the egg omelette to Grim as I took my Cinnamon Twist bread.

"Thanks Y/n!" Ace smiled.

"I was just joking by that but thank you." Deuce said with a small blush.

"Take it as a thank you for helping me catch Grim earlier." I smiled as I ate my bread and also gave some pieces to Hooty that is next to me on the table.

"Back to the task at hand!ets eat!" Grim cheered as we sighed into the food. "Delicious!" He chimed. "The egg omelette is so light and fluffy with gooey cheese in the center!! So we saw your guys' dorm this morning but what are the other dorms like?" Grim asked as he swallowed his food. Hooty then hooted to someone behind us.
