🌴Reunited Challenge: Part 27🌴

3rd POV
The whole room went silent. Kalim looks at them in disbelief and had to blink a couple of times to process what just happened. Azul was a struggling Octopus under the hands of the tweels.

"Oh." Is all they muttered out.

"Blegh!" Grim yelped out softly.

"Gross." Hooty mumbled out. The Octavinelle trio, Grim, and the two owls swiftly make their way to Kalim without causing any more noises. Y/n pulled away and Jamil had a satisfied look on his face.

"That was...." Jamil stopped midway through his sentence when he saw the boys' reflection on the crown. "You!" He shouted. But he was soon blasted with magic by Azul. A powerful one too.

"Guys!" Y/n said as she ran to them.

"Y/n-!" They were cut off by the girl.

"WHAT THE HELL!? DO YIU HAVE ANY IDEA HOW LONG DO I HAVE TO KEEP A STRAIGHT FACE LIKE THAT!?" The girl growled at the boys. "Where. Were. You!?"

"Long story short, edge of the Scarabia borderlands, had to swim back here fast." Azul summarized briefly to the girl as he pulled her into a protective hug. "I'm just glad you're okay." Y/n reluctantly returned the hug.

"Same here." She mumbled out.

"Geh, you're all?" Jamil gritted his teeth. "I sent you flying to the edge of the desert. How'd you get back here in such short time?"

"We filled a dried up river and swam back!" Kalim said to Jamil.

"But you're pens were here. How did you...?" Y/n asked.

"Thanks to Hooty's Crystal, we managed to get here in time." Jade said to Y/n. Hooty, of course, was on Y/n's shoulder, looki g as proud of himself as ever.

"It was so far, I'm beat." Floyd sighed as he rotated his arms a bit.

"You did what?" Jamil's eyes went wide for a second but he soon smirked. "... Tch, that so. Kalim's Unique Magic...! Hmph. Isn't that great? You finally found a use for that magic. And here I thought it was only good for watering plants or splish splashing around with."

"Hmmm. He seems to have nothing but contempt for your power." Azul said to Kalim.

"And then there's you, Y/n. You traitor." Jamil hissed at the girl.

"Oh really!?" That's where she snapped. "Says the person who literally Overblotted just to get back at your own best friend! And for what!? Getting revenge? Making the Scarabia residents who respected you for so long to turn on you and force them to betray Kalim? To backstab the one person who treated you with kindness in your life? Your life long friend? Who's the real traitor, Jamil? It's certainly isn't me you slimy sea snake!"

"Wow." The boys were speechless.

"Such a sharp tongue you've there. How said that my prized possession betrayed me." Jamil sighed out.

"How dare you..." Y/n's eyes glowed bright. "How dare you treat me like I'm some object to be played with! I am not some kind of thing you get to throw around! I am a person! I am a human being who has feelings! I am not a prize to be won!"

"Tch..." Jamil only clinked his tongue at the girl. "I thought you were different than that."

"Jamil... I finally understand how you really feel about me." Kalim said to Jamil. "You are without a doubt a cowardly traitor!"

"Are you dumb? You're the one who believed me without an ounce of skepticism." Jamil said to Kalim, laughing at the end.

"I challenge you for the seat of dorm head you stole... I plan to take it back." Kalim challenge Jamil as he pulled out his Magical Pen.

"I stole it? Hmph.... Big talk!!" Jamil glared daggers into Kalim. "Even though you're the one who stole everything from me!" A surge of powerful magic went through Jamil it soon showed physically as electricity around Jamil. "It's time you had a taste of my true power!! Nyahahahaahaha!!" Kalim was obviously intimidated by Jamil.

"Kalim." Kalim turned to everyone behind him. They all had smiles in their faces.

"We're with you in this." Y/n said to Kalim.

"R-Really?" Kalim stuttered out.

"Yup!" Hooty hooted out.

"Hoo!" Owlbert nodded as he was now reattached to his staff which Y/n will be using against Jamil.

"Jamil needs to learn a thing or two about respect." Jade added.

"Sea Snake isn't going to last very long, so I'm gonna help." Floyd chuckled out.

"And he has to pay for want he did to Y/n." Azul said through gritting teeth.

"It's time to clean up this mess again." Grim sighed out

"Guys." Y/n called the attention to the boys. "Let us not say anything about what happened to me and Jamil. What happened in Scarabia, stays in Scarabia. Got it?"

"Got it." They answered.

"Oi! Jamil!" Y/n called out to Jamil. "We challenge you on behalf of Kalim and all of Scarabia!"

"Hahahaha! That's fine with me!" Jamil laughed. He soon blast a gigantic amount of magic towards them all.

"Gah!" They didn't know a spell that could counter or deflect the magic. They braced for impact but....

"Nice try!" The boys opened their eyes to see Y/n infront of them.

"Eh!?" They yelled out, seeing the magic sheild that was produced by the Staff Owlbert was on.

"!!?" Jamil was taken aback by this. "Impossible. Who- what are you?"

"I am Y/n Wonderlin. Daughter of M/n and F/n Wonderlin. And I stand before you with my friends by my side for all of Scarabia! And I don't intend to lose to you."

"Who are you and what have you down to the shy and timid girl we know?" Azul asked.

"I'm not like other girls, Azul. I'm just built different." Y/n said to Azul with a smirk. "NOW EAT THIS, SUCKER!!" Y/n sent a powerful spell to Jamil, which sent him out of the balcony and into the courtyard below. Jamil was able to stable himself to land on the ground.

"Ha! Is that all you've got?" Jamil smirked.

"It's on now." Y/n smirked. She looks back at the bewildered boys behind her. "Ready guys?"

"Hell ya!" Hooty and Grim shouted.

"Indeed." Jade and Azul nodded.

"Ayup!" Floyd smiled sadistically.

"Kalim." Y/n called out to the boy. "Ready to take back your throne?"

"Ready as I'll ever be."
