Liam stands there watching the two young girls playing. It doesn't bother him as much as he thought it would, seeing her drop them off. Maybe he didn't quite understand what he was feeling. It's hard to tell. Everything is so fuzzy. The only thing he's completely certain about is his little Tess. She's such a bright child, stacking up all the correct blocks in alphabetical order. While she's doing that, the other girl, Cailyn, walks around holding a doll limply in her arms and talks to it and Tess off and on. He catches her staring at him every once in a while. He stares back at her, once she's notices him watching she turns away quickly.
Cailyn hums and resumes her chattering at her doll. Mommy said that she was to be careful around Tessie's daddy. She said he was a little sick and confused. So that Cailyn had to watch out for Tessie and herself. She's been doing a great job. Yet he hasn't done anything weird so far. Maybe he'll pick his nose and I can catch him. She giggles and the thought and sits down next to Tessie and Tessie's tower, which is coming along very well.
Tessie loves this. She's building an amazing tower and she has almost all of her favorite people here with her. Just missing mother and Izzy. Then it'd be perfect. But daddy said mother wouldn't come back, which makes her said. If only she could see her mother again and hug her and make her stay...
