Steve Rogers- Thinking of Us (h)

You took a sip of your fiancée's water whilst you two stopped for a rest "Why did you make me do this?" you asked and he chuckled "Doll, you're the one who suggested it" he smirked as you handed him his water back.

"Come on" he said standing up and offering you his hand. You took his hand and he intertwined your fingers together "Doll, hiking is fun. Plus it's nice today, the sun is out" you nodded "I know Stevie".

As you resumed your walk, you took the time to think back on your relationship with the one and only Steve Rogers.

You two had been together for two years prior to your engagement and prior to your relationship both of you had been friends for around a year and a half. You and Steve were the couple that everyone envied; you two were so in love and you hated to be away from each other. It was physically impossible for you to be away from Steve for more than a few hours and it was the same for him but even more so.

Steve had always wanted to get married, to have a family, to have that type of life but when he went in the ice he thought that all of that was lost. However when he fell in love with you, you were his second chance and he never stops reminding you of that fact.

Steve rubbed your thumb with his making you smile "Lost in your thoughts again?" he asked as he kissed your cheek "Mhm. I was thinking of us" he smiled his very adorable smile.

Steve lifted up your locked hands and twirled you as if you were dancing which caused the both of you to laugh "Was that entertaining?" you inquired letting go of Steve's hand to wrap your arm around his waist.

"That was entertaining" he responded as he wrapped his arm around your shoulder "Are we almost at the top yet Stevie?" you stretched out your free hand in front of you almost as if you're trying to pull yourself to the top.

Your fiancée just chuckled at your antics "Yes Doll" he answered whilst shaking his head slightly but the smile that was present on his face only expressed love.

You squeezed Steve's waist before you took off running to the top of the hill that the both of you had been hiking up for the past couple of hours.

You heard Steve laugh behind you as he started to run in order to catch up with you. He laughed again as you spun around once you reached the top. He whipped his phone out and took a picture of you without your realisation.

He came up behind you and wrapped his arms around your waist before placing his head on your shoulder "The hike was worth it for this view" you commented as you leant back into Steve's touch "This isn't my favourite view ever but it's definitely an amazing one" he added into the conversation.

"I can't wait to marry you" Steve said aloud as both of you continued to look at the view "I get to be Mrs Rogers" you turned around in his arms and placed your arms around Steve's neck "I'm glad I can change your last name. It just shows that you're mine" he smiled as he talked about you taking his name.

"Yeah that and the ring on my finger" you joked as you ran your hand through his hair "Which you're never taking off" he smirked at his comeback "You better not take yours off either" you playfully glared at him meaning your words.

He pulled you closer to him if that was even physically possible "Wouldn't dream of it Doll" he said leaning in but you decided to meet him halfway resulting in a gentle yet passionate kiss between the two of you.
