After years of Steve having to adapt to the modern era, he had begun to miss dance halls and being able to dance in the way he was taught, rather than in what was now common. There weren't many places still available for the dancing of the 1940s but as his girlfriend, you wanted to make sure he is happy and help him out where you could.

You didn't know much on the topic, but you were happy to use Bucky to help you find music and clothing as well as learning to dance to set up your own version of a dance hall in an old room at Stark Towers that Tony allowed you to use. You were grateful for the help that he offered, and he even offered to get Steve there for the date you had planned. You waited patiently in the dress Bucky had helped you pick until Steve entered the room, a confused expression on his face.

"What is this?" He asked, looking around at the decorations of the room.

"Well, you keep saying you wished you could take me dancing, and seen as there aren't any dance halls nearby, I thought I would make you one."

You made your way over to the record player and lowered the needle to the vinyl to start the album that you had found.

"This is amazing," he smiled warmly, moving towards you so that he could take your hands to raise them to his lips. "Thank you so much."

"You're welcome. Anything to make you happy," you grinned, playfully shoving his shoulder.

He looked around for a second before looking back at you. "You don't know how to dance though? We tried to dance in our lounge, and you ended up in the ER."

You weren't fond of the memory of you smacking your head off of the fireplace, but you knew that this time would be a lot better than the previous attempt.

"When I've been telling you I've been going for coffee with Natasha or going shopping or when I lost my keys, I was actually dancing with Bucky and luckily he now doesn't hate me for the constant pain I caused him," you shrugged.

"I'll have to thank him later," he said.

"He did help out a lot, I tried my best but to make it as authentic as I could, I did need his help."

"Well the two of you have done an amazing job."
