Avengers in love**

You both slept on and off for a few hours, taking time to just bask in being in each other's presence. You ran your hands up and down his chest, abs, and back giving him kisses anywhere you could reach. He just smiled gazing in your eyes doing the same thing back. You were in a comfortable silence for a long time.
"I wish we could stay like this forever" you finally sighed after a while.
"Me too" he whispered, placing a kiss on your upper arm.
"We could always go for a run" you said after a long period of silence.
"Naked?" he grinned at you.
"No, my breasts wouldn't forgive me" you giggled.
"We could just stay in bed for today" he offered, almost hopefully.
"When we go back to the compound they wont let me go for my runs anymore again, and I miss them" you admitted.
"I think they will let you in the gym, they were just worried doll. So was I" Bucky leaned forward and kissed you softly on the lips.
"I'm not made of glass" you scrunched your nose and he chuckled.
"You've proven that, several times over" he nipped at your lips again, pulling you in for another kiss. "Alright, lets go for a run" he pulled back. "Maybe we can try making love out on the grass again" he teased.
"I'm still worried I'll hurt you" you admitted.
"You won't though" he sat up and gave you a soft slap on the rear as he went to grab his clothes out of his bag. You pouted a little and sat up before going to your bag and pulling out your clothes. You changed into shorts, sports bra, gloves and a long sleeved shirt all in black. You turned to see Bucky was in black sweat pants and t-shirt and smiled to yourself. You hadn't even thought you both would match, but it was kind of cute.
"Come on Leia" you both called at the same time and headed out the door.

You took the longer pathway again, using the branches to swing yourself and you did do a few flips over the rock outcroppings etc. again. Bucky passed you a few times while you were going through the woods, just enjoying the sounds of the woods again. You missed the amount of peace that it brought you. You had it timed that he was supposed to be passing you for the fourth time, and stood on top of one of the branches higher up. You watched as he started coming closer, and he slowed down to a walking pace.
"You getting tired doll?" he chuckled.
"No, just eagerly waiting for a great view" you giggled. "Did you want to go up and see the fall colors again after this?"
"After I'm done with you" he grinned cheekily.
"We are so lucky that Nat put me on birth control" you giggled again.
"Yeah, we definitely are" he flushed a bit. "I forgot about that the first few nights, then Bruce told me that Nat took care of it" he held out his arms for you to jump down, and you smiled while jumping into his arms. "What about kids though? Do you want any?" he asked you seriously, while holding you close.
"I didn't think I would ever be able to have kids, let alone what we have right now" you thought about it seriously for a moment. "But, having watched Maria grow, I think I would be blessed to have the chance to be a mother. So yes, I want children" you decided after a moment. "And you?"
"I didn't think I'd ever have the chance either, but with you, there's no question. I'd love to have a few" he grinned easily.
"A few?" you quirked an eyebrow.
"Well, you need at least nine to make a baseball team" he teased, leaning down to kiss you.
"Thank goodness you have the stamina to keep up with that many" you laughed. "I don't know if I could handle nine"
"I think you'd make a great mom" he rubbed your back, pulling you closer to him. "To a baseball team, or just a few" he chuckled when you gave him a playful slap on his metal arm.
"I think you'd make a great dad" you smiled leaning up on your tiptoes to kiss him softly on the lips. "You've already won over Maria"
"I did not see that coming to be honest" he chuckled as you both started walking back the rest of the way.
"She's a wonderful kid, I'm still in shock she's dating now" you shook your head. "Its like it was yesterday that she was hanging off my leg in the diner while I tried to bus tables" you gave a small giggle.
"Since we are going to check out the leaves, why don't we stop by the diner and grab a milkshake?" Bucky smiled at you as you came out of the woods.
"And a slice of pie each" you nodded, already looking forward to it.
"I'd never cheat you out of your pie" he chuckled and pulled on your arm. "Since the run is over..." he double tapped the inhibitor on your chest and leaned down to kiss you again. You grinned and eagerly opened your lips to him as he started reaching for your shirt.

After the two of you made love out by the firepit again, you headed inside to change into something else. You both went with black jeans, while Bucky went with a white Henley you opted for an AC/DC t-shirt. Leia was excited to be going for a drive as you both got into the truck, with Bucky driving of course. She sat in the middle of the two of you like the Queen she is. You turned up the music as you made your way into town. You stopped at the diner, and saw Ma come hurrying out to the front to see you with a newspaper in her hand.
"Hey Ma" you grinned at her.
"I wanted to warn you, before you found out on your own" she handed you the newspaper. There on the front page was a large photo of you and Bucky kissing in front of the grocery store with huge smiles on your faces. The title above stated "Avengers in love" and it was an article that basically had no quotes or comments from the team, however there was a lot of speculation as to why you were on the team now. You blushed a bright red and looked to Bucky who was also flushing.
"Bucky isn't the reason I'm on the team" you finally got out. "But they aren't wrong, so what if they know we are in love" you looked at him again. "I'm adding this to my scrap book"
"You took that better than I thought" Ma smiled at you.
"They warned me that I was going to be in the public eye more" you whispered softly. "I just thought being home we were safe from that"
"I'm not even mad, at least they didn't take another picture of me scowling like they normally do" Bucky shrugged. "They can say what they want, we know why you're an Avenger"
"Tony must be having a fit" you realized you hadn't checked your phone and saw several text messages from the team.
"I'll order, you want Strawberry?" Bucky asked as you started checking your messages. Tony and Steve both asked if you two were okay, and said that the news had been calling about the two of you. You took a photo of the newspaper and sent it to them, telling them you were both fine. Just grabbing milkshakes and pie at the diner. Your phone went off almost immediately and it was a video call from Tony.
"Hi Tony" you smiled, making sure that he could see Bucky behind you.
"How are you feeling Kitten?" he jumped right to the point.
"I'm fine, we just finished our run together and decided to head out for a treat, maybe go see the fall leaves again" you saw Bucky turn around with a whole pie waved at the camera.
"You weren't cleared for running yet" he looked pained at the thought of it.
"I'm not made of glass Tony, I needed to get away for a few days. I can't stop pushing my limits you know" you rolled your eyes.
"Is that Sunshine?!" Bruce came up beside Tony.
"Hi Bruce" you smiled.
"We saw the photo they published of you two. You alright?" he seemed worried.
"I think its scrap book worthy. They took a good photo" you grinned and Tony rolled his eyes.
"The New York Times called us for a quote" Tony warned you.
"Well, hopefully they don't say that I'm only on the team because of Bucky again" you frowned a little. "I mean, that's kinda rude. I could kick his ass if I wanted to" you heard Bucky start laughing.
"In your dreams doll" he called over.
"We know you could" Bruce nodded with Tony.
"Maybe less public appearances for now, until this cools down. They are still asking where we found you and wondering what abilities you have" Tony suggested.
"I thought I'd be safe here, I swear. I didn't even notice someone took a photo. We just went to the grocery store for food for a few days while we are here" you sighed.
"Don't forget there's still that bounty on your head" Tony whispered into the phone. "You two should be here where its safer"
"We are coming back after supper tomorrow, I promise" you gave a sad smile.
"Just be careful" Bruce gave a soft smile at you.
"Bruce, Tony" Bucky came over balancing the milkshakes on top of the pie box. "Everything okay?"
"Well, its one of the better photos of you" Tony grinned. "Just be careful you two. Don't forget what I said"
"Bounty" you whispered to Bucky to answer his unsaid question.
"I brought guns just in case" he shrugged nonchalantly.
"Love you both, we gotta go. Bye!" you waved and closed the video call. "Guns, seriously?" you looked at him and he just shrugged.
"Never know when I'm gonna need to protect my dame" he grabbed the door and opened it for you.
"Thanks for the paper Ma!" you called back and tucked it under your arm heading to the truck.
