The return

"What is that divine smell?" Tony walked into the kitchen while you and Happy were working at setting the table for the whole place.
"Kitten's famous breakfast, trust me, you'll love it" Happy grinned at you while you took another sip of your latte.
"Starbucks?" he looked at you with a raised eyebrow.
"I know what she needs" Happy shrugged while Bucky and Steve came into the room. "And that, is exactly what she needs to start the day"
"You two have gotten close" Steve chuckled at Bucky's face seeming confused.
"Happs has been taking good care of me all week" you shrugged. "Even if I played ABBA too much"
"Hey, you promised no more ABBA" Happy shook his head with a laugh. "Anything but that again. That's all I heard for three days"
"Well, I am the dancing queen" you gave him a playful bump with your hip.
"I doubt anything would stop your girl from dancing Bucky" Happy looked at him seeing he was frowning a little. You went around the table, and gave Bucky a kiss on the cheek and he gave you one of his flirty grins that you loved so much. "Hey, you are supposed to be helping me Kitten" Happy sassed you playfully and you gave a giggle heading back to the kitchen. Everyone started filtering in still looking exhausted and bruised taking their seats at the table. You stopped setting the table long enough to give Wanda a big hug, and then went back to getting all the food.
"Who made all this?" Nat finally asked from her seat, seeming to be confused.
"Kitten and Happy" Tony grinned being the first to take a waffle and start piling his plate.
"Oh no, this is mainly Kitten" Happy grinned sitting down. You finally took your seat between Nat and Bucky, feeling contented with how much you prepared.
"You helped me Happy" you rolled your eyes.
"I just made you caffeinated" he joked. "But I did get your secret recipe for your waffles finally"
"This is so good" Peter groaned from his seat.
"What did you put in them?" Sam asked between mouthfuls.
"Cinnamon and nutmeg, just a dash" you shrugged. "It's the way I like them"
"Doll, you can cook for me any day" Bucky leaned over and gave you a sticky kiss from all the syrup on his face. You giggled, and sat back a little loving how much everyone seemed to enjoy their meal.
"How did the mission go? You all look exhausted" you finally asked.
"We got a lot of data to go through, but it was successful. There was a lot of Hydra there, and a lot of scientists. It was just a lot" Nat answered for the team. "It was the base you were held in, so there's a lot of personal interest for us to get through the data before we release it to SHIELD. We saw your rooms..." she drifted off.
"Its nothing but rubble now" Steve looked at you. "We made sure there's no way they will recover anything from it"
"Can I help with the data?" you looked at between Bruce and Tony.
"For now, let us look at it in case there are any surprises. We will start working on it tomorrow. We all just need to rest for today, and maybe work on our reports" Tony answered for them both.
"Everyone will be resting today? Good. I was hoping to hear that. Maybe even a couple days would be good" you finished your plate and brought it into the kitchen. You started working on the dishes right away and Happy rushed in to help.
"What about your legs?" he tried to keep his voice low, but you heard the small conversations in the next room suddenly stop.
"Happs, I'm fine. Don't forget we made a deal. I get dishes this morning, and you're still sparring with me today" you shrugged.
"Let me see" he crossed his arms and you saw Tony peek his head in with a curious look on his face.
"No" you shook your head.
"Then I'm doing dishes and you go sit" he pushed you out of the way. You flicked water at him and pushed him back playfully while you went back to washing.
"Sorry, what happened to her legs?" Tony finally asked.
"I got a little hurt sparring yesterday, don't worry about it. It's healed. Go eat" you shooed him out of the kitchen. Happy helped you with the dishes regardless of what you said. As everyone brought in their dishes and cleaned off the table, you managed to keep up and finished in record time.
"Doll? I'm just going to go work on my report for a bit. Did you want company sparring?" Bucky came in just as you were headed out.
"Nah, I'm good. We are working on a surprise" you gave him a soft kiss on the lips.
"Are you sure?" he seemed uncertain, but you just smiled and gave him another kiss.
"Happs has my back. I'm good. You should be resting" you pulled him in for another tight hug. "I'm just glad your home"
"I'll always come home for you doll" he smirked giving you another kiss on top of the head and then headed back to his room. You reached into the kitchen and grabbed your heels, and Happy raised an eyebrow at you.
"We are not doing that again" Happy shook his head as you both headed into the gym.
"Oh yes we are" you grinned and gave a giggle. "I have to get 20 kicks in today. Gotta get better"
"You're going to be the death of me" Happy sighed heavily while you jumped on the treadmill.
"Hey Friday, play my workout list" you called out and watched as Happy joined you on the treadmill next to you.
