Chapter 173: Spencer's POV

"I'm sorry I got us kicked out," Toby said from the passenger seat.

"Please, Toby, what you did was amazing. Noel's an asshole. Thanks for sticking up for me."

"Anytime, babe. Serves me right for thinking I could take on the varsity football captain."

I let out a small laugh as I drove back home. "That party was lame anyway. A pity party where everyone would listen and believe Alison's bullshit. We didn't need that."

"So you wanna come back to my place? We can continue the party if you know what I mean," Toby offered.

"Just ice your face, Tobes, and let me do the driving."

"Spencer, if you're taking us back to your place, just drop me at my home. I don't want your parents seeing me...all hurt."

"Toby, it's not like they think you're super manly in the first place," I said as I took a turn on an unfamiliar road.

"Where are we going?"

"You'll see," I said and he groaned.

"Spencer, can you just drop me home?" he pleaded.

"No, Toby! I agreed to your day of fun so now it's my turn."

"I didn't even get a full day, Spence."

"And neither am I, so just shut up and ice your face."

"Spence, to be honest, I'm pretty sleepy."

"Okay, just close your eyes and I'll wake you up when we're there."

"When we're WHERE?" Toby asked.

"Good night, Cavanaugh."

"Wake up, Toby!" I yelled in Toby's face and he opened his eyes.

"What's going on?" he asked groggily.

"We're here!" I yelled and he opened his eyes wider.

"Bucks County?"
