Chapter 38: Toby's POV
The moment was perfect...until Spencer's phone beeped. Damn, why are girls always on their phones?
"Sorry, I need to check this," she said. She looked at her phone and frowned immediately.
"What's wrong, Spence? Are you ok?"
"Ya, I'm fine," she said. Clearly, she wasn't.
"No, you're not, Spencer. What's wrong? You can tell me. I'm your boyfriend, you know," I reassured her.
She smiled at that word. "I like the sound of that. You calling yourself my boyfriend."
I laughed and she leaned in and kissed me. "Nothing for you to worry about, boyfrannndddd," she told me.
