Chapter 16: Toby’s POV
I’m too scared to look up. I basically asked Spencer to stay here with me. I hear her laugh, so I change the topic.
“What do you want to do to pass time?” I ask.
Spencer is still laughing. “Well, why don’t we play something?” she suggests. “Do you have any board games or anything?”
“Nobody plays board games anymore, Spencer. People use technology for your information.”
Spencer smiles. “Well, I have some games on my phone. I don’t know if any of them are two player though.”
She looks through her apps for some time. Then she screams, “WORDS WITH FRIENDS!”
