Chapter 15: Spencer’s POV
I follow Toby as he walks into a motel room. I figured I could talk to him for a while before leaving back home. He holds the door open for me as I awkwardly enter. He unpacks his bag and sits on the bed.
“So…” he begins. “What are you doing here? Not that I mind. You can stay here with me as long as you want, if you want, I mean you don’t have to, but you can,” he says nervously.
I laugh because his cheeks were turning red and he was looking down. For the first time in a long time, I forgot about –A because I melt when boys become nervous. It shows that they have some emotions and it seemed like Toby Cavanaugh was finally a boy, according to me.
