Chapter 13: Spencer’s POV
Where could Toby Cavanaugh be? I searched everywhere for him. I guess he just left Rosewood completely. I start to drive back home when my phone rings.
“Hello?” “Hey, Spence, it’s Hanna. Why are you not with Toby?” she asks.
“Long story,” I reply.
“Well, did you do something to piss him off? I kind of talked to him and he said he’s staying at a motel tonight.”
“A motel? What? Uhhh, got to go, Han. Thanks.”
Where was this motel? We Hastings don’t stay in motels. I remember driving past this Rosewood Motel once. Maybe that one? I couldn’t believe myself. This was the first time in my life I was chasing a guy instead of doing homework.
