You carefully walked down the stairs as you carried a basket full of washing that needed to be put into the washing machine.
Knowing your son Jonah, he has left out some of his toys again and you do not want to fall over them again. It hurt a lot especially when you were carrying things.
One time you were carrying some bed sheets downstairs so that you could iron them but Jonah had left his toy tractor, that your husband bought for him, on the last step and you stepped on it. It was like something out of a cartoon; you fell and had a rather large bruise on your shin for a few months that was very tender the majority of the time.
You managed to make it into the laundry room safely without tripping over anything. You put the load of washing on but you then heard a rather loud scream from your son's playroom that was down the hall.
You ran to the playroom and saw your husband, Clint, bouncing around on one foot whilst holding his other. It was definitely a funny sight so you couldn't help yourself from laughing "Y/N, don't laugh" he pouted still hopping on one foot "But it's so funny" you continued to laugh.
He sat down on the floor and you sat next to him "What did you do Honey?" you asked looking over at Jonah to make sure he was okay after laughing his little heart out along with you "I stood on some of Jonah's Lego" you kissed his cheek and giggled lightly.
"How did you manage to do that?" he gave you a pointed look "I came in here to play with Jonah for a bit but I didn't realise that Jonah had left his Lego out so I accidentally stepped on it" you giggled again.
Jonah looked at his Dad and smiled innocently "I'm sorry Daddy" you could tell Jonah felt bad so Clint pulled Jonah into his lap "Awh Bud. It's okay, Daddy wasn't looking where he was walking" he kissed the top of Jonah's head.
"It was funny though, right?" you asked smirking slightly "Yeah. Daddy was hopping like a bunny" you silently 'awh'd at the comment "I'm glad I can entertain you both" Clint pretended to be offended but you kissed his cheek making Jonah cover his eyes.
"You want to play with some Lego Bud?" Clint asked and you smiled at him but Jonah shook his head "I want food" you laughed and Clint looked to you "Just like his father" Clint playfully glared at you "Mummy, can I have some sweets?" Jonah pulled a little puppy dog face which was the epitome of adorable.
You stood up and Jonah reached up for you. You picked him up and Clint stood up also "SWEETIES" Clint shouted running to the kitchen.
You shook your head as you followed him "Do you think your Daddy is crazy?" Jonah nodded as you reached the kitchen "But you love him right?" you looked down at Jonah.
"I love your Daddy a lot" Clint looked to you and smiled before wrapping his arm around your shoulder "I love your Mummy more"
