Y/N's POV.
Me and Scott talked in fierce whispers, not wanting Stiles to hear you from upstairs. "Scott, I'm not the one who should be doing this." "He won't talk to me. I said.
He wants you." Scott said. "He doesn't want me." "You broke up with him, Y/N. It's not like you pushed him off a cliff. He doesn't hate you, and he'll want to talk to you." He said.
"Fine," I said. "I'll try, but I swear you wasted a call." I said. And you turned and walked up the creaky stairs to Stiles' room. I hadn't talked to him since the break-up, and i didn't want to. "Stiles?" I knocked on the locked door.
He wasted no time in opening it. "Hey," he said. As predicted, Scott had exaggerated how poorly he had been doing.
He looked fine. "What are you doing here?" Stiles said. "Scott made me come," i told him so he didn't get the wrong idea. "Oh, well come in." Me and Stiles took seats next to each other on the bed.
I had anticipated that he would speak first, but he didn't, and an awkward silence lingered for longer than it should have. "It was bad timing," I finally said. "What?" He said"I broke up with you, and then Erica died i said.
And then Boyd died. I know you weren't best friends with them or anything, but you talked to them a lot, and that had to hurt, so that's why I'm here I guess. I said.
Because too much has happened lately, and Scott wanted to make sure you were okay. I wanted to make sure you were okay." I said.
Stiles shrugged. "We haven't talked since then." He said
"I was avoiding you." I said.
"I know." He said.
I sat in silence again. I wanted to get up and leave.
I knew he would be okay, and i couldn't stand being around him when you weren't together because it was so different now.
I couldn't even talk to him the same way. "Why did you break up with me?" He asked.
I looked down. "I don't know." I said"Oh." He said. "I didn't stop-" you started to say, and regretted it. "What?"he said.
"Nothing." I said. "You're trying to say you didn't stop loving me," he stated, like he could read my mind.
"So, was it something you had wanted to do for a while or did you just wake up one morning and decide to break up with me?" He asked
"I don't know." I said.
"I think you do." He said. You sighed.
"I thought there was too much going on, and I thought if I broke up with you, then nothing bad could happen, but I guess Erica and Boyd proved me wrong." I said.
"Which basically means that you didn't want to break up with me," he said in a way that implied he knew more about me than myself, and he was trying to explain who I were.
"You wanted to break up with the supernatural." He said.
"It didn't work," i told him, and a tear slid down my face. "Everything is still happening." I said.
He put his hand on my leg. I hadn't realized how much I missed his touch.
I hadn't even realized that i missed him until i walked into the room.
I had tried so hard to hate him that i forgot who he was, and who i were.
"I can't be apart from you any more," i said quickly, and leaned in to kiss him.
He pulled back the second my lips met.
"Are you sure you still love me?" He asked, suddenly questioning everything he had told me about myself.
I pulled my shirt off over my head. "I'm sure." I said.
Stiles took his shirt off, too, and started kissing my neck.
I lay back on the bed, allowing him to have his way.
I started to undo his belt, and heard the click of the door.
"Hey, you guys wanna-" Scott walked in and froze in his tracks.
"M-my eyes. I need to bleach my eyes." Scott walked stiffly out of the room, and Stiles started laughing.
I didn't laugh.
I just stared up at his face, smiling, letting him teach me just how much i loved him.
