~Trinity's POV~

Two days ago we arrived here in Jersey as Lorenzo, Sara and Santino were there at the house waiting for us to arrive and once the kids saw everyone it was a wrap.

A whole day was nearly gone and none of them bothered to say hello as when I would go to check on them they'd be asleep or gone somewhere with Lorenzo.

But I'm glad to see them happy and enjoy their time with their grandparents, Santino and Lorenzo. Seeing them have fun is the highlight of the trip for me

Today, Sebastian took Lucas and Evan to the space auditorium and Landon and Mason wasn't too much feeling that trip so they stayed with me

"Are you gonna tell us where we're going?" Mason asked as he looked around the neighborhood

"I figured now would be a good time for you to meet grandma."

"But we already know grandma." Mason said

"I don't mean grandma Natalie, but my mom, Jessica."

"We're finally gonna meet your mom?" Landon asked with excitement

"Yeah, let's just pray she's home.... and not drunk." I mumbled the last part. It felt strange going down my old neighborhood as I haven't been down here in damn near over twenty years, the very last time was when my own mother kicked me out for my choice in college

I vowed that I would never return because of how unfair she treated me my entire life and since I've been going to therapy to work out my issues, Dr. Larkins says that it's best to finally put this behind me and face my problem.

Besides, it wouldn't be right of me to keep her grandchildren away, I would be heartbroken if my kids were to keep me away.

It's amazing that everything still looks the same, even the passcode to get inside is the same after all these years

Pulling up in the driveway gives me mixed emotions. My stomach is forming knots and I'm legitimately scared of what may happen.

I haven't seen my own mother in years and out of the blue I come knocking on her door with three of my five kids that she knows nothing about.

"Wow mommy, you grew up in this house?" Mason asked getting out of the car as I was unbuckling Amelia from her car seat

"Sort of, I spent the majority of my growing up in Paris with my grandma."

"Maybe we can go there for summer vacation." Landon said as I got Amelia out and closed the door

"Yes perhaps if daddy is up for some exploring."

I took a deep breath as we walked up the steps to the front door while I held on to Amelia's hand and I prayed that my hand wasn't sweaty.

I knocked on the door as my heart was pounding against my chest. A part of me wanted to run back to the car, drive away and never look back, but I glance down at my kids and I realize I need to be strong for them, how can I teach them to face their fears when I can't do the same
