Chapter 27: Wake up Call

Two years later
~Trinity's POV~

It all started the same as always, the warming sun rays shining through the window and the sound of birds chirping.

Sebastian lie face down in the pillow lightly snoring with his arms up above his head. A loud pounding sound starts as I sit up and look at the clock to see 8am

I figured it was the neighbors making noise but the sound was coming from downstairs as I could hear Coco and Meadow barking. "Baby, wake up." I said shaking Sebastian awake as he groaned and the pounding kept going

"Sebastian wake up." I said as he opened his eyes
"You hear that?" I asked as he looked at the clock, sat up and grabbed the AK-47 by the bed and tossed it to me

He gets up as the banging still continues and the dogs barking, he puts on his pants and gets the AK from me, load it up as he walks over to the balcony door as I cover myself with the sheets while he goes outside and looks over the wall

"Shit." He said walking back inside the room, closing the door and tossed the gun on the bed and ran into the closet

"Babe, who is it?" I asked worriedly as he came out with a duffel bag

"It's the cops, help me hide this." He said pulling out five blocks of cocaine.

I stand up on top of the bed and open the air vent as he hands me the cocaine and I push it back as far as I could so you wouldn't see and then handed me the AK and I put the vent back.

I get off of the bed and put on my robe as he puts on a shirt and shoes. "Do you know what they want?" I asked as I followed him out of the room and now the boys were standing outside their door with a puzzled look

"Mommy, what's going on?" Lucas asked as they followed behind as well

"I'm not sure." I said as we reached downstairs and Sebastian got the dogs to calm down and sit before he opened the door

"Sorry for the wait, I wasn't expecting company this morning." He said as he opened the door to four police officers

"Mr. Moretti, I'm officer McDaniel, we have a warrant for your arrest."

"For what?"

"The possession of an illegal firearm containing hallow point ammunition."

"You came all the way down here for some shit I don't even have." He said as he took Sebastian and started to handcuff him

"We also have a warrant to search the house." He said as the other two officers walked inside and handed me the warrant

"This has to be some mistake." I said as Evan ran to Sebastian and clutched his leg

"Daddy!"

"Everything's alright, buddy, go with your mom." He said as Evan walked back to me and I picked him up as he started crying

"It's okay honey." I said patting his back

"Is this what y'all like to do, make little kids cry. Trin, non dire niente a nessuno fino a quando l'avvocato ti chiama." He said looking me in the eyes as I nodded my head
