Chapter 93: Heating Up

For the past three months Sarai has been inseparable from Evan ever since they first became friends, which later transitioned to becoming a couple.

She spends most of her time at his apartment and has pretty much moved in but she does go back to her dorm ever so often when she feels like Evan needs a break, but she'll end up missing him all night and may call to talk to him while she falls asleep

Things have been heating up in the relationship as a few days ago she finally took him to meet her parents and they immediately fell in love with him

She thought he would be nervous but he fit right in with her parents as if he'd known them forever.
They were aware of the religious differences which they were a bit skeptical about since they traditionally never marry outside of the religion or culture.

They hear the excitement and pure joy in Sarai's voice when she calls and tell them about how wonderful Evan is, how smart, thoughtful and loving he is to her, and she also added that he was rich.

At first she didn't want to because she didn't want her parents to look at him as someone with money but get to know the Evan she fell in love with. But they would soon find out about how much he was worth when they met, so it was best to tell them ahead of time.

Her fears were that her parents would think Evan's reasoning for being with her was not genuine and he wanted to use her.

Luckily they didn't feel that Evan would take advantage of Sarai or pressure her into doing anything she didn't want to and immediately they blessed him into the family.

Evan asked them would it be alright if he could one day take Sarai to America with him to meet his family with the promise that he'll protect her that entire trip and they happily obliged

The more time she's with Evan, the more she finds herself falling in love with him. "Stop it, that tickles." Sarai giggled as she tried swatting Evan away as he kissed her on the neck

The two were sitting under a tree by themselves as Sarai was trying to read over her notes. "What if I don't want to stop."

"Evan, please."

"Mmm, don't say my name like that baby, you'll get me riled up."

"Baby I'm trying to read my notes again."

"You already know all of it, we went over it for hours last night." He said as she sighed and put her notebook down

"Yeah you're right, I'm just nervous about this test."

"You'll do fine just like all the rest of them."

"Since I've been studying with you my grades have tremendously improved. I really thank you for your help." She beamed

"No need to thank me baby, it was all you anyway."

"You still wanna go out for lunch after class?"

"Yeah, I'm fine with that. As long as I'm with you I'm happy." He said as he went back to kissing her neck

She giggled and still tried pushing him away but it did nothing. He then pulled her onto his lap as he began sucking on her neck. "Evan I'm gonna get a hickey because of you."

He devilishly grinned, "That's what I'm aiming for."

It was now time for the two to head to class as they walked and held hands. The more Sarai has been with Evan, the more confident she has become as she openly holds his hand with pride.

The same mean girls that were rude to Sarai for just being around Evan or criticized her for her looks, she now laughs at them and proudly flaunts Evan in their faces. She knows Evan is her man and no one else stands a chance against her
