Chapter 10: My Munchkins

"I truly appreciate you finally inviting us over after two grueling weeks of not being able to see you." Marlena said as Trinity came back with drinks for the three of them

"I know and I'm sorry, I've been missing you guys too." Trinity said as Marlena scoffed and folded her arms

"Yeah right, you're too busy hanging out with your other new friends."

"No one can replace the two of you, you both will always be my true friends."

"I guess we can forgive her now, she seems genuinely sorry for neglecting us." Nicole said to Marlena

"Do you still hate me?" Trinity asked Marlena with a sad face as Marlena smiled and unfolded her arms

"Of course not girl, you know I love you!"

"I'm glad you're still my best friend." Trinity said hugging Marlena

"You know I could never stay mad at you, and nows not the time to be mad with you especially with those adorable twins you have."

"Thank you, I can't get enough of my little munchkins." Trinity smiled

"I would go purposely wake them up so we can play with them, but I won't disturb them, I'm sure it's not easy getting them to sleep at night."

"It can be a hassle, but after a while they get tired and fall right to sleep."

"You know, I'm surprised that Carmen lady isn't over here talking your ear off." Nicole said as Marlena rolled her eyes

"Oh God, don't remind me of that woman, she never shuts up, how do you deal with her anyway, Trin?"

"She's lonely, and I can understand that, she just wants someone to talk to that's all."

"Well if you ask me, she talks a little bit too much. I wouldn't hang around her too often, she seems like the type to tell your business." Marlena said drinking her wine

"I agree with Marlena, you don't need your business all over town."

"Oh wow, you actually agree with me on something, Trin, write it down I don't want her to forget this day." Marlena said as Trinity chuckled

"I'll surely take the advice, plus it's not like I'll be able to get a word in anyway but I'll remember what you two said."

"You should come with us next weekend to the casino in Atlanta, the three of us will have so much fun." Nicole smiled

"I don't know about that."

"Don't worry we have a room with two beds and Nicole and I swore no hanky panky, plus you have a nanny and plenty of money to pay someone to watch the twins while you're gone."

"I totally would go but I'm going to Jersey next weekend."

"Why?"

"The twins have their christening."

"Why can't y'all have it here? I'm sure you and Sebastian can find a Catholic Church around here."

"Yeah but his mom doesn't know the priest, so therefore he's not qualified to christened the boys."

"Well okay then, are we allowed to give a gift?" Nicole asked

Trinity smiled, "Of course, you can always give gifts."

"Great, we'll pick them up something from the casino." Marlena said as Trinity laughed

"And they will absolutely love it."
