"I'm glad we can finally be open and honest about our relationship. I'm also glad that you've talked me into telling my family about us, I wish I would've listened sooner because I really enjoy the time we're sharing." Amelia said to Chris as they were sitting at the kitchen island sharing fruits and a smoothie Amelia made

"As long as I'm with you, I'm happy regardless." He said as she scooted closer towards him, wrapped his arm around her and gave her a kiss on the lips as she began to smile.
"I have something for you."

"Ooh, what is it?" She asked as he reached in his pocket, took out a small velvety box and opened it up to show a beautiful ring with lots of diamonds in it and the sides are shaped like the infinity symbol.

She gasped at the ring and never expected him to get her something like that

She gasped at the ring and never expected him to get her something like that. He took it out of the box and placed it on her finger as she hasn't said a word yet which kind of worried him

"Do you like it babe? I can always get you another one."

"No, no it's perfect. It's beautiful." She said as she admired the ring on her finger and Chris unintentionally blew a sigh of relief

"Oh good, I've had the ring for awhile now and I've been contemplating on when was going to be the perfect time to give it to you. I'm giving it to you because not only do you deserve it but it's my promise to you that no matter what I'll love, honor and cherish you. You're my beautiful girlfriend and I hope one day you'll be my wife, that's if you want to get married."

She smiled as she gently held his face in her hands and kissed him on the lips. "I love you, you're so good to me, and you'd be the only one I'd consider marrying." She kissed him again and went back to staring at her ring and got all giddy again

"I'm really glad you like the ring, I was afraid you'd think it was going to be too small for you or didn't like the design."

"It's the perfect size and design, I absolutely love it and I'll wear it everyday." She said as Landon walked into the kitchen and Amelia rolled her eyes and sigh

"Damnit." She mumbled and stood up. "Why don't we go outside and finish up out there."

"Hey what's the running off for?" Landon asked

"I know you, you're going to start something, so to avoid any of that we're going outside."

"Wait I didn't want to argue with you two, I genuinely wanted to know what's going on with you two and it's nice to see you're enjoying each other."

"Why the sudden interest?" She asked as he shrugged

"Well unfortunately we can't stop you from growing up and doing what you want to do so we won't fight you on it anymore and we'll try our best to be as supportive as possible. It is still a little weird for my best friend to be dating you, but if you're happy then I'm happy for you, he's a good dude I guess." Landon shrugged
