"Niall, I'm just heading out to the shops." I said and Niall came running into the hall and closed the door when i opened it.

"Hey!" I said and Niall sighed.

"Do you have a jacket on?" He asked.

"I'm wearing a hoodie." I replied.

"Put on a jacket. I don't want you cold." Niall said. "Also, are you going alone?"

"Yeah. I'm only going to be gone for a few hours." I replied.

"Take a friend with you." Niall said.

"I'm shopping for a gift for her. I'm sure she can't come." I explained.

"I don't want you to go alone, Hayleigh. That's it! I'm coming with you." Niall said and grabbed his coat.

"I'm sure I can manage on my own." I said.

"No, come on, let's go." Niall said and took my hand.

"Niall-"

"No, Hayleigh, I'm not letting you go alone when there's freaks everywhere." Niall explained and they got into the car.

"You know I'm only protective because I want to keep you safe, right?" Niall asked and looked over at me.

"Yeah, I know. But, sometimes I feel like I need to wear shin pads when I'm out with you." I joked and Niall raised an eyebrow.

"We're getting you shin pads." He said.

"Niall!" I groaned and he laughed.

"I'm kidding I'm kidding." He said.

"You better be." I said and Niall laughed.

He was joking... not really.
