"Your room is on the third door, first door to your left." My new dad said.

"Thank you." I mumbled going to get my case.

"No, no, love, we'll get that." My new papa said.

"Are you sure? I can manage." I mumbled playing with my fingers.

"I'm positive. Plus, we seen you struggling." Papa said chuckling a bit.

"Okay. Thank you." I mumbled once again and headed up to my room.

"She seems frightened." Niall said as he put my bag on the floor.

"Can't blame her though. Her dad wasn't the nicest and it must be scary for her to have two dads now." Liam explained.

"Yeah-oh hey, love." Dad said and I smiled softly.

"Um... h-hi. Can I get something out my bag?" I asked looking down to the floor.

"Course you can." Dad said handing me my bag.

I opened it and started searching.

"Found it!" I said happily but then felt bad. "Sorry, I didn't mean to yell." I said.

"Don't worry about it, love. What did you find?" Papa asked.

"Oh... it's nothing." I replied not wanting them to feel angry with me.

"It must be something if you were so happy you found it." Dad said.

"O-o-okay. It's uh... it's a picture of my mum." I said showing them the picture.

They smiled.

"I was just wondering if I could put it next to my bed and that way I can imagine that she's still here-do you know what? It doesn't matter. So-sorry I shouldn't have done that. I'm sorry." I mumbled putting the picture back into my bag and ran upstairs again.

Niall headed to the bag and took out the picture.

"Her mother was beautiful." Niall said.

"Y/n looks just like her." Liam said.

"We'll tell her it's okay if she wants to have it in her room. Grab her bags." Niall said as he headed upstairs and Liam close behind with the bags.

"Y/n?" Dad asked knocking on the door.

"Oh... hi." I mumbled.

"Man, she mumbles a lot." I heard papa say under his breath.

"You have my photo." I said as he handed it to me.

"You can put it on the bedside table if you want." Dad said and I smiled.

"Are you sure?" I asked.

"Yeah." Papa said nodding.

"Thank you so much, papa and dad." I said and they smiled wide.

"No problem, love. Glad you feel part of the family."
