AMELIA
The next morning I wake up with a smile on my face.
I turn over on the bed to snuggle closer to Chris since he isn't holding me anymore. Maybe he moved away during the night.
When I turn over and the only thing I see is an empty bed, my smile fades.
He left?
I sigh and plop my head down on the pillow.
Why would he just leave without saying anything?
I try to listen for any movement in the bathroom or the living room, but it's quiet. Deadly quiet.
I frown when I look towards the window and see how bright it is. What time is it?
I turn over to my nightstand to check my phone before quickly realizing that it's not there. I get up with a sigh, tiredly making my way into the living room where I find it buried in the couch.
I grab my phone and check the time, blinking in surprise when I see that it's past 11 am. I don't usually sleep this late, thats odd..
When I see an unread message my smile slowly creeps back on my face as I read it.
Christopher Sorry I had to leave baby, I had to get to the set really early this morning and you just looked so beautiful sleeping, I couldn't make myself wake you up. Text me when you see this <3
A heart. He sent a heart.
He's never sent a heart before.
I smile widely, giddiness bubbling inside me as I type out my response.
Amelia Hi! Just woke up. Got really sad when you weren't here :( But your text helped. How's work?
I don't get a response for a few minutes so I decide to go take a shower. If he's on set he's most likely busy shooting so that might be why he's not responding.
Taylor told me he was off today so Chris must be shooting with someone else.
As I wash my hair I remind myself to text Taylor once I'm done and check with him if we're doing anything today.
I towel dry my hair when I get out from the shower and wrap myself in the robe. I sit down on the bed, grab my phone and notice two new messages.
Tay Hey Ames, text me when you're up! x
Christopher Work sucks today. It's a lot more fun when I get to see you every time Joe and Anthony yells cut
I chuckle at Chris' message.
I quickly respond to Taylors text, letting him know that I'm up and then I reply to Chris.
Amelia Aww, I'm sorry, poor baby. Finding it hard to stay motivated?
His response comes much quicker this time.
Christopher Yes :( I'm gonna need you to be here every day from now on
Amelia Hahaha
Amelia Damn, that sounds like a full time job
Christopher It is! Better get used to it
I chuckle again.
