Ashton: "When I saw you other there, I didn't mean to stare but my mind was everywhere, I wanna know you"

You bit down on your lip hard, concentrating on the problems written down on your notebook. You massaged your temples, and tried to take deep breaths as you struggled to recall the formula and the process of solving the given problem. You let out a frustrated groan after a while, realizing that you just couldn't understand your current lesson in Maths. Hell, you have never understood anything, it's actually a miracle that you're passing the stupid subject. You shut your notebook close, pushing it far away from you with a pout, wishing you could just drop out of school to join a punk rock band or something. You chuckled, wishing that you were a groupie instead, as you didn't have many talents involving music anyways. You heard some rhythmic tapping nearby, and you decided to look around, trying to find whoever was that making noise in the silent coffee shop. Your eyes landed on a beautiful blonde tapping away on the table as he watched his friend write something down on his small notebook. The blonde began to laugh, his laughter reaching your ears from the other side of the room, making the butterflies erupt in your stomach - he had a really unique laugh, it was so adorable, and absolutely contagious. His friend had tanned skin and jet black hair, covered by a snapback which he had on backwards. You didn't know what it was, but something inside of you just felt drawn to him, a random stranger who was drumming on the coffee shop table. The way he would laugh at the smallest things and the way his dimple would pop out whenever he did, it captivated you somehow. To further add to this, you thought he was insanely attractive as well. You wanted to get to know him, but you weren't exactly a bold person so you just had to stare at him the entire time. You observed his every movement, the way he would hit his friend when he says something stupid, the way he would take his bottom lip in between his teeth and the way he would run his hands through his curly hair as well. But at one point, he turns to your direction and sees you staring at him, making your eyes widen. The two of you held eye contact for about three seconds, before you looked away, feeling the familiar flushing of your cheeks. That was embarrassing, you thought to yourself as you sunk in your seat, trying to hide yourself from the beautiful blonde and his friend, who seemed to be laughing. You decided to wait a little while, trying to recover from the embarrassment you suffered a little earlier. Thank god they left before you did, or else you would have to face him and his friend, which would be kind of mortifying for you. You shoved your notebook in your bag, and began to walk towards the shop's exit. You pushed the door open, and turned around, only to be met with someone's hard chest. "Ow," you muttered, rubbing your nose which was slightly hurt from the contact. "I'm so sorry!" you heard someone reply, and you assumed it was the person you bumped into. You looked up at the tall person, preparing your whole "Watch where you're going," speech but stopped when your eyes met his - it was that boy who was drumming the table earlier. The previous interaction with him popped into your head, making your cheeks heat up in embarrassment, "Hey, you're that girl from earlier!" He grinned, your butterflies going wild inside of your stomach, and when you listened closely, he actually had a really thick Australian accent. "I'm so sorry about bumping into you," he adds, frowning slightly. He bent down to examine your face, making you feel even more embarrassed because of the sudden proximity between the two of you. "Looks like nothing's wrong though," he giggled, and you decided to let all your walls down because he seemed like a really nice person, and you wanted to follow your heart - you wanted to get to know this beautiful by right in front of you. "It's alright, it's nothing major or anything," you flicked your wrist, as if to dismiss it and you watched his lips curl into a grin. He reached behind his neck and began to rub on it shyly, "I-um, I'm Ashton by the way," He offered his hand out for you to shake, and you chuckled, taking his giant hand in yours. "Nice to meet you Ashton, my name is Y/N," you smiled, as his eyes twinkled. "That's... a nice name," he says slowly, as if trying to imprint your name in his mind permanently. "Thank you," you replied, withdrawing your hand back shyly, tucking a loose strand of hair behind your ear. "So I guess I'll see you around," you said, turning to leave but he grabs your wrist and pulls you back into him. You looked up and your eyes met his beautiful hazel colored ones, "But can I take you out sometime?" he asked, a goofy grin appearing on your face at his question. You already knew what your heart wanted to say, and there was something in your gut telling you that this will lead to something a whole lot more, and so you nodded, "I'd love that,"
