Ashton: I just made the biggest mistake of my life two days ago. I mustered up all my courage to finally tell her how I fell, and she ends up running off with tears in her eyes. It hurt to know that she didn't feel the same way about me, but she could have just told me that she didn't feel the same way instead of running off like that. It's like she left a hole in my heart and I couldn't even fix it by myself - she's the only one who can, but I don't know how I'm gonna ask her about it. I'm scared how she'll react if I see her again. Will she just act like nothing happened between us a few days ago, or will she walk away from me forever? I took a deep breath, massaging my temples. I need to do this, I need to at least try. I took another deep breath and exhaled, before raising my hand to knock on her front door. I heard shuffling footsteps inside before the door opened, revealing a very disheveled looking Y/N. Her eyes widened when she locked gazes with me, and she tried to shut the door, but I placed my hand against it, preventing any movement. "Please let me talk to you," I tell her, and she looked up at me sadly. "I-I don't-" "Please," I pleaded, tears threatening to spill. She averted her gaze and took a few steps back, allowing me to enter her house. She shut the door quietly behind her and I turned to her. She looked like a mess - her hair was sticking out in all directions, she had huge bags under her eyes and she looked really tired. I didn't hesitate, I pulled her in for an embrace and she tensed up a bit. She hugged me back a few moments later and I breathed in her scent, she still smells amazing. "I-I'm sorry Ashton, I really am," her voice cracked, and I could feel my shirt dampen a little. A small smile appeared on my face, even though I knew she wouldn't see. "It's okay, I probably shouldn't have said anything. I know you don't feel the same way but-" "Who told you I didn't feel the same way?" She asked, pulling away from me. The tears glistened in her beautiful eyes, but still she looked gorgeous. When her words finally clicked in my head, I blurted out a "What?" She giggled, and I could see the adorable crinkles by her eyes. She pinched my nose playfully and said, "I didn't run away because of what you're assuming, poohead. I ran away because I-I didn't want you to see me cry, I was just... I didn't know what to do, so I ran." Her expression turned from playful to remorse in a second and she hung her head low. "I'm sorry, but I just... I was just so shocked. I-" She looked up and a beautiful smile was now present on her face, "I've been in love with you for years. I just didn't expect you to feel the same way about me, I'm sorry if you-mmph," I cut her rambling off by pressing my lips on her soft ones. I could feel the electricity surge through me when our lips touched and I pulled away breathlessly, "Shut up, you talk too much." I smirked, pulling her against my chest.

Michael: "He's got nice eyes, don't look back cause he's looking..." I sang, strumming slightly on my guitar. I was trying to help Calum write a new song for the album, and it's basically my life story. The boy's friends with the girl he likes, and he tells her about this friend who likes her, but she doesn't know it's him. Calum's been liking this girl too, so we're pretty much friendzoned at this moment, which sucks a lot. "You don't.. no, um.. I think you.. I think you know him," Calum says, writing down the lyrics on the piece of paper. "But you just don't know that he's right in front of you," I grinned, and Calum's eyes lit up. He grinned, writing the lyrics down onto the paper when we heard Y/N come in. She was holding Luke by his ear, and she looked pretty pissed for some reason. "Michael Gordon Clifford!" She screeched, and my jaw dropped. Shit, she doesn't call me by my whole name except if she's really pissed about something. Something must be up. Luke winced when she called my name and he shot me a look which meant, "Save me." I walked up to her, lowering my head so I can meet her eyes, "What's up?" She let go of Luke's ear and looks up at me angrily, "Luke just told me something." She then turned to Luke and he whimpered when she let go of his ear, "I-I'm sorry mate," Luke started. "I-I kinda told Y/N that you were seeing someone." My eyes widened at Luke's words - Luke was one of my best mates, even if I harrass him constantly. He knew perfectly well that I wasn't seeing anyone and that I was in love with Y/N, but why would he even lie to her like that? I glanced at her and she was fuming red in anger, and my eyes furrowed in confusion, thinking, "Why was she this angry?" And then it all clicked, a smirk forming on my lips. She's definitely acting jealous right now. "Well, is it true Michael?" She asked, folding her arms across her chest. I stalked closer, until our faces were mere centimeters apart, "You're acting sorta like a jealous girlfriend right now, Y/N." A shocked look replaced her angry one and she looked down, flushing, "Wh-what? I'm no-not! I'm just being protective.." "Protective?" I smirked and her head snapped up, "N-no! I meant I didn't want a-anyone to steal you away from me.." "What?" I was trying to hold back my laughter, and she looked so adorable trying to deny her jealousy, but that just made me want her more. I noticed Calum and Luke slipping off somewhere and my smirk grew, knowing that we're the only ones left in the room. "Y-you're my best friend, I just-" I leaned in until my lips were right in front of hers, "Just tell me if you want me to kiss you, because I've always wanted to kiss you. I love you, you idiot." I tell her and her eyes lit up, her lips curling upwards. "Wha-what are you waiting for then, Pinky? Kiss me-" My lips crashed against hers and our lips began to move in sync. I walked until I had her against the wall and smirked, pulling away. "Are we still considered best friends or-" "Shut up, you're mine now." she says in a low growl and presses her lips against mine once more.
