So now it's past New Years and all of that and everything is basically back to normal Odell is back in his morning practice and I'm back at my studio.

"What happened...is he okay? but can you text me the hospital please?" I say with a croak. "Yeah but I'll let the coach explain when you get here.." She says. "Thank you for calling me I'll be there in less then ten minutes." I say.
My body is shaking from the news and I can't think straight. I go and dismiss the meeting and I tell them to call my manager because I have to deal with something. I grab my phone and try to steady my nerves with my mind racing on what could of possibly happened to Odell. It can't be that bad cause he's in the hospital and his mom didn't say anything about a coma so I try to think positive.
I check the address and I see it's only a few minutes away. I start to walk to my car trying to focus on my steps until I make it near the reception area where Aaleeyah stops me.
"Wait I thought you were at a R.Kelly meeting where are you going?" She asks me. "Odell had a accident I have to go.." I say quickly. "Is he okay?" She asks. "I don't know honestly his mom didn't tell me what happened." I say. "Okay I hope he's okay Lex.." She says. "Bye.." I say as I walk out and jump into my car.
I drive as calm as I can manage to the hospital and when I get there I park on the closest to the door. I walk into reception and approach the lady at the front desk.
"Do you know where Odell Beckham Jr's room is?" I ask. "Who is asking?" She says not with a attitude but more like for procedure. "I'm his girlfriend." I say. "They didn't mention anything about a girlfriend." She says. "Look honey I can't tell you because I don't have permission also anyone can pretend to be his girlfriend." She says.
"Look I don't have time for this can you tell me where Odell is." I say. "Do you have any proof?" She asks. "Uh.." I say as I reach for my phone to show her some pics of me and him.
"Excuse me are you giving Alexis a hard time?" I hear someone say before I can pull my phone out. I look up and see it's his mom. "No ma'am I was just explaining to her that I am not allowed to give out room numbers I'm sorry for the misunderstanding.." She tries to explain. I don't say anything because I don't have time for this I follow his mom.
"Hey Ms.Heather." I say greeting her. "Hey honey." She says. "Is he okay?" I ask. "I don't know the doctors haven't told us anything.." She says. We walk to where his room is which is a private room and I see his coach a few of his teammates and his father. I wave a quick hello to them then Odell's mom leads me to the coach.
"Do you mind explaining to Alexis what happened?" She says. "Yes well um Odell was running to catch a football and the field was getting work done so there was a big piece of machinery cleaning the fields. Beckham was running after a ball one of his teammates threw and the machinery was coming his way. He tried to run and miss it but instead he tripped on one of the wheels and kept running until he hit his head on one of the of the big screws which held the arena together. He left a dent in the arena and the side of his head was busted and he was knocked unconscious." He says. As he says that my hand goes to my mouth trying to take it all in.
"Is he okay?" I ask him. "I don't know the doctors are checking for skull fractures and broken bones." He says. Ms.Heather leads me over to chair and pushes me down on the chair.
"Honey relax he's going to be okay." She says. I can't make out any words so I just nod my head. I sit trying to hope for the best but I get more worked up as the minutes go by.
His mom buys me a coffee but I can barely take a sip. I accept it and we continue to wait. After possibly an hour a doctor comes out of Odell's room. He walks up to Odell's mom and she taps me to get up with her.
"Are you the family of Mr.Beckham." He asks. "Yes we are how is he?" His mom says. "Well I have good news mostly..we stitched the side of his head and his shoulder which was shifted out of its socket but we got it back in. He has no skull fracture like we believed and he only has a concussion. He will however be in a wheel chair for a few weeks because the ligament in one of his knees was stretched to far when he fell but besides that he's going to be okay. We are doing a few more test on him so can you please wait out here? He is however still unconscious but he will be awake soon." The doctor says I let out a sigh of relief almost on cue.
"Okay thank you Doctor." His mom says. We sit there and more hours go by. I don't know what's taking them so long but it's making me uneasy.
"Excuse me you guys can come in only 2 at a time please." He says. I decide to sit and wait till everyone has a chance to go in so I can spend the rest of the time with him even though his parents insist I go in first.
After everyone came out his mom comes up to me. "He's been asking for you but we're going to get going you should to you can't stay in these uncomfortable chairs all night honey." She says.
"Thank you Ms.Heather but I'm going to try to stay with him tonight." I say. "Alexis let me tell you from experience these hospital chairs are not good for your back but if you stay take care of Odell." She says. She hugs me good bye then she leaves.
I walk in his room with much anticipation. His eyes light up when he sees me. I look at him and the side of his head has a bandage and his shoulder is wrapped up and one of his knees is in a cast and has a ice bag placed on it.
"Hey babyyy." I say as I walk over to him. "Hey baby girl." He says weakly. I reach over for his head and sit in the sofa chair next to his bed. "Baby you okay? you had me worried.." I say as I place little kisses on his hand. "I'm fine Alexis but I don't like that you came last to see me." He says trying to look over at me.
"I wanted everyone to be done so I can stay in here with you." I say softly. "Odell I'm spending the night here to.." I say. "Your mom didn't want me to but I gotta stay with my baby." I say. "I know mama hate hospital chairs but you should go home baby you probably left your work to come here and be with me.." He says.
"I don't care." I say as I get up and grab Odell's face and kiss him softly. "Come lay with me." He says. "No I can't I'm scared I'm going to hurt you." I say.
"You not they got me full of pain killers and I know you not going hurt me." He says. "I don't know.." I say trailing off. With his good arm he reaches for my waist and pulls me onto him. I decide not to fight it and I slip off my shoes and crawl in bed with him.
