Chapter 130: Toby's POV
Spencer had just left when I realized she left her wallet in my house. Oh no, she couldn't drive without her driver's license! I picked up my call and tried to call her, but she didn't pick up.
I called Emily next. "Hey, is Spencer still at your house? She's not picking up her phone."
"No, she just left, but I think she mentioned about no battery," Emily responded.
"Thanks, Em," I said and hung up.
I decided to drive to Spencer's house and give it to her. I had nothing better to do and besides, she was really tired, and I didn't want her to drive all the way back here.

When I got to Spencer's house, the door was already open. I started to walk towards it, but I heard screaming so I moved myself to the side of the house.
I should probably just wait in my car so I walked back, but something glittered in my way. I looked down to examine it.
No, no, it couldn't be that.
I bent over to pick it up and turned the ring over. Sure enough, there were the initials M.C. engraved.
Oh, well, it must have fallen off Spencer's finger while she was walking.
