Chapter 62: Toby's POV
Spencer looked uneasy as she looked at the door. She waved to the person as he came in and as I turned my head, I recognized him immediately: Alex.
"Spence," I turned to her. "There's nothing wrong here. I know you guys used to date."
"You did?" she asked, surprised.
"Everybody did. You guys used to make out in front of my locker! Plus, you went to homecoming with him."
She laughed. "Oh yeah," she replied.
Alex walked over to us. He was alone.
"Hey Spencer," he told her politely. He looked at me uneasily. "Toby, is it?"
I could see his judgemental look. Everyone had it when they looked at me.
"Yes," I said affirmatively. "Is that a problem?"
"No, not at all. I guess I'm just surprised to see you two together."
"Ya, we are an odd pair," Spencer said.
"So when did this friendship...when did it start?" Alex asked and took a seat at our table.
"The friendship or the sex?" I said as I smirked.
Alex and Spencer both gave me threatening looks, but I was chuckling on the inside.
