Duke's Daughter Margarita Frost Reporting for Duty

While Dwayn is away Margarita is feeling a bit lethargic.

"Is this the pain of having one's lover away?" Margarita gasps and looks and sits up from the sofa bed in the receiving area. Her hair is now a bit longer.
It reaches her shoulder.

The sunrays from the window hits her face and she closes her eyes from too much brightness.

'How long was it?'

She was reincarnated in this world so suddenly and without fussing over it she did what she had to do but now she feels that this life is too peaceful.

And she has so many people she trusted in this world now.
People she doesn't want to be parted away and even a lover.
She had a family and wealth.
Everything was like a dream.
If this happens so fast like a dream…….would it also be taken away from her like a dream?

Margarita stands up and walks to the door.

Just at the exact moment, X opens the door.

"........"

The two stare at each other.

"Miss, the King summoned you to the palace."

"Oh?" Margarita tilted her head.
It is just three days since Dwayn left

What is the King trying to do?

"I am going with you." Duke Miguelito said as he slowly walked down the stairs.

"Good."
Margarita nods.

The two left with X

"What does the King want with my sister?" Miguelito asks himself.
He is in his study room and just been informed by the maid.

Ben stands behind him and reaches the book he was reaching a while back.

Miguelito stares at Ben's and smiles.
"I can't even help so let's just work hard."

Ben nods.
Behind him he clenched a letter he was hiding all morning.

"Your Majesty, the sun to all Luncanter."
Margarita bows politely.
Beside her is her father.

The King smiles.
"Margarita, it's been awhile since I saw you. You never fail to grow up more beautiful every year."

Margarita bows.
"Thank you, your highness."

"Margarita, how are you?" 

Margarita raised a brow but she immediately covered it with a bow.

'Why is Diego here? And why is he standing next to the King?'

"Your Majesty, why is the third Prince here? Isn't he supposed to be unable to enter the palace?" Miguel asks.

The King laughs and pats Diego.

"My son apologized to me. What can I do? I am a sucker for my children."

Diego smiles.
"Father….."

Margarita eyes became colder.
She grits her teeth and clenches her fist.

"I do know your highness has a soft heart toward The third Prince but the law is not supposedly being bended so easily like this." Miguel remained expressionless.

"Duke, do not worry. I also got  permission from Grandma...I mean the Queen Dowager and she gave me a second chance."

"Haha." Miguel has a dry laugh and his face is as cold as always.
"Why did the King call us here?"

The King can tell that Duke Miguel is not impressed with their performance. But he is sure with his trump card.
A card so easy to use against Duke Miguel.

"You see...I realized that children made mistakes all the time. But as long as feelings remain. It won't easily disappear." The King said and pats Diego's hand.

Margarita looks at them coldly.
She remembered the King doing the same move to coax 'Dwayn'.
"I am so cruel as to separate two lovers in love. What do you say Margarita…..why not get engaged with Diego again?"

Margarita's eyes widen.
That was beyond her imagination.
That is really another level of shamelessness.
What happened in those three days?

Margarita slowly looks at her father.

Miguel Frost is so angry that his face was distorted.

"I had enough with you! You already insulted my ears and now you are directly slapping my face! Do you have any idea what kind of man you are offering to my daughter? If he can even still be called a man!"

"Duke Frost! Your foul mouth! Do you want to rebel against the country?!" The King shouted back.

"Father!" Diego and Margarita said at the same time.

Their eyes met.
Diego smiles happily at Margarita but he receives a cold glance.

Diego's heart felt a sting of pain.
