Clank.
Clank.
Clank.

"Father," Margarita called softly.

"Hmmm?"
Duke asks while he is staring down seriously.

"It's checkmate. You lose."
Margarita.

Miguel shakes his head while  caressing his chin.

"No I'm not."
He said and stares at Margarita.

Margarita looks down on the board again.

"No..You see...My bishop can take out your King now."

"No." Miguel said.
"My daughter will not do that move. So I won't be eliminated."
He said seriously without changing his facial expression.

Margarita looks at her side.
X is smiling wryly at her.

"You lose, my Lady."

Margarita blinks and then she sighs.

"Fine. You win father."

"But I haven't execute my winning attack yet." The Duke said.

"Let's stop. I want to rest."

"Let's continue until I made my winning attack."

Margarita took her bishop and tap it to her father's King.

"You're dead."

The Duke sits properly and crosses his arms

"I hate this game."he said.
"Anyway, make sure you are not going to be caught by using a fake prince Diego." He said as he hides the glass chess pieces in its elegant box.

Margarita smiles.
"I don't plan to be caught but thank you for worrying."

Miguel nods.
"Why is Miguelito not home yet? Prince Dwayn must be in the palace right now flattering the King."

"I will send a knight to know their location." X said and left.

The two are left alone in the room.

The Duke looks at Margarita.

"You are my daughter."

"What?" Margarita frowns.

The Duke closed his eyes and looks at her again.

"Nothing. Just remember that whoever you are in the past....You are now my daughter."

Margarita's eyes dilated and shakes.
Her hands tremble slightly.

The Duke is not looking at her.
He is staring outside the window.

"I come to love you...My daughter."

Margarita stood up.
She wants to say something but nothing went out of her mouth.

The Duke looks at her.
"You are Margarita Frost. Remember that."

Margarita plops down on the sofa.

Sighhhhh~~

"Yes, Father."

Miguel smiles.
"So, are you shock how your father realized?"

Margarita frowns.
"Is it what I said to X?"
She frowns.
"I just said it as a joke but also cause I never thought anybody will take that seriously."

"Ahahahaha. Saying something like reincarnation. I also think of it as a joke at first. But....But you are no longer the type who talks gibberish."
The Duke smiles and walks infront of her.
He pats her head.
"We can change your name so you won't feel sad using Margarita's name."

"No. She is me. I am her."
Margarita looks up.
"This body and blood...This is the proof that I am Margarita."

The Duke trembles a bit.

"Can I hug you?" He asks trembling.

"A little." MArgarita looks away but smile a bit.

The Duke hugs Margarita tightly.
"I will protect you this time."

"Sure."

Miguelito walks away from the guild.

"Did you want to say something to me?" He asks Ben.

Ben nods.
"I am not sure if it's the same person but I do know of a woman who serves in Prince Alan's palace as a maid name Lilac."

Miguelito's eyes widen.
Then he kicks his leg.

"Offfffff"

"Ben~~ I do like you to interrupt me if your information is pretty useful you know~~~ You sonofa----(sigh***) Do you know where I can find this person?"

Ben nods.
"I know where she is. She lives in my village."

"Oh. She is a neighbor?" Muguelito smiles.

Ben nods.
"She just got married to my cousin. They lived pretty close."

The smile in Miguelito's lips disappear.

"Marry?"
